TESSIA POV:

Today was the day, I could finally see Arthur again! Patting down my dress to get rid of any wrinkles and making sure that I had my present with me – which was a box of high-quality elven sweets – I watched as a purple portal appeared in my bedroom just in front of me.

'Does my dress look ok? I hope that Arthur's parents like my gift... what if they don't? No, they're definitely nice people! They are Art's parents after all!'

Calming myself down and taking a deep breath, I stepped through the portal and into Arthur's room.

"Hi Art, long time no see!" I cheerfully said with a big smile stuck on my face.

Standing next to Arthur were his mom and dad. His mom had auburn hair and brown eyes – the same colour as Arthur's before his change – while his dad had brown hair and deep blue eyes.

"M-my n-name is Tessia Eralith, n-nice to m-meet you Mr and Ms Leywin" I awkwardly stuttered out while handing them the sweets.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, Tessia! There's no need to be so nervous around us, you're our son's... 'friend' after all" Arthur's mom kindly said while accepting my gift. Noticing the odd way she said 'friend', I slightly blushed; embarrassed that she already knew what my feelings for Art were.

With a grizzly voice, Arthur's dad spoke up. "It's nice to meet you as well Tessia. But I know you're excited to spend the day with Art, so I won't hold you guys back any longer. Go out there and have some fun!"

Pushing us out of the room and down to the front entrance, Arthur's parents waved us off as we walked down the stairs.

Closing the large doors behind us, Arthur and I started strolling down the road; not knowing where it would lead me.

"What do you want to do now Art?" I curiously asked, wanting to explore the entirety of Xyrus city. Since I never left Elenoir before, this was the first time in my life that I could go out and experience new things.

"If it's suitable for your tastes, I heard that there will be a play starting soon at the Xyrus Hall. Then after that, we could go out for lunch and do some shopping," he suggested.

"That sound like fun! Let's hurry up and go!"

'...I guess Art remembers when I told him that I liked going to the theatres with Mom, Dad, and Grandpa to watch people act out stories!' I gleefully thought to myself.

After walking for a bit, we finally reached a large building with 'XYRUS HALL' written in big letters on the front. Stepping inside, Arthur went up to the front counter and handed the person there several silver coins.

'Did Art just give her silver coins? Does it usually cost that much?!'

While questioning this, the lady behind the counter got out and motioned for the two of us to follow her. Going down the large, carpeted hallway we reached a door with the number 8 written on it.

"We thank you for selecting the private booth option, young master. If you would like to order any refreshments there is a bell on the inside which you may ring. We hope that you enjoy your stay," the lady politely said while bowing.

Going inside, the room was... beautiful. At the front of the room was a stone balcony that had a view of the entire stage and the several hundred people that were below us. There were also two cushioned seats next to each other, with a small golden bell on the table beside them.

Arthur and I took our seats on the balcony, and just as we did the entire hall darkened. Suddenly, the stage lit up and two people; a teenage guy dressed in worn out clothes and a teenage girl in a stunning dress.
