Chap. 1

I pace my room, where did it all go wrong? Why'd it all have to go wrong? A bang noise from outside and I look out my window/balcony walking over and looking down. There stands Lord Tess, his new appearance bothers me but i can't do much, he taps the magic microphone once more "you all have come here seeking answers, i am sad to say but the king has fallen, and under many investigations we have come to the conclusion of who his killer is" my heart soars they're gonna reveal who killed my father, then i'll exact justice maybe that will get the people on my side....

"The killer is none other than Prince Relis!" I freeze 'what? No, why would i kill my father!?' the crowd erupts in angry words "I KNEW HE WAS ALWAYS BAD!" "HE KILLED HIS BROTHERS HE WOULD KILL HIS FATHER!" "KILL THE PRINCE!" "THAT NO-GEM DESERVES TO DIE!" my heart shatters more and more and i step away from the balcony tears falling into my eyes "peace my people, we shall have his execution later today, he will not go unpunished!" I gasp in fear, closing the balcony doors behind me terrified for my life, a knock on my door makes me yelp infright. "Relis! Open the door!" someone calls from behind it's wood, i blink "Jake?" I call, he hisses "no the tooth Fairy! Open the d- door!" I rush over and open the door. There stands Jake he has a cloak over his arm "take this go to the stable to steal a horse to escape" he hands the cloak to me, but i push it back "i have nowhere to go! Besides, I'd be a wanted criminal!" he grimaces looking to the side "i know a guy who may help, but..." i blink as he continues "he may not like you, he despises royal and high class" i gulp and nod. Jake wraps the cloak around my shoulders "Relis....i promised your older brother i'd keep you and Rex safe before he died, i failed Rex, but i won't fail you, go please" i nod numbly, as no one brings up Rath-erie, the real crown prince. Jake smiles and guides me quickly to the stables where he helps me mount a horse. I grab his arm before he leaves "please....keep me updated when you can...I have to know who is framing me..." Jake smiles "i never liked you little Relis" i chuckle softly knowing this "but i never hated you, i will do all i can to help you Relis" i nod wiping the tears from my eyes before saying one final thing "give Rex a green Rose every week?" Jake nods "of course, stay safe". I nod and mount the horse before using the reins and running for the hills.
