We went to the balcony, and sat down on one of the seats.
"Okay so what you are is very difficult for me to explain. You are different than other vampires. You are a half being. And because you are a half being, your blood is very delicious to us and would do anything to suck you dry. But I'm not like that, since you are my mate. You don't feel that you're my mate because you are a half being."
"Huh... that's a lot to sink into."
"Yes it is."
"So you had love at first sight kinda thing?"
"Pretty much."
"I mean you are handsome and all, but you're not my type. I'd rather date a human."
"Well if you do, don't forget, bloodlust could overcome you."
"I'll watch out for that."
"How old are you right now?"
"I'm currently 17 and living alone."
"Some half vampires will become a full fledged vampire when they turn 18 and will be immortal."
"Cool."
"Anyways, I've got to go, my girlfriend is waiting for me."
"Wait you have a girlfriend?"
"Yes but I'm going to break up with her."
"You don't have to Finbar."
"I have no choice, i don't like her."
"Is it because of me? If it is don't force yourself in breaking up with her."
"It's true she likes me and is always stalking me and i asked her if she could be my girlfriend so she leave me be."
"Wow that's sad."
"Yeah i know. I really would hate to see her reaction."
