Hello all. I'm currently watching SAS Australia (which is super interesting). Anyways, they are doing a survival 'challenge' in which they have been given necessary items for 'life support' (essentially enabling them to survive in a jungle for a period of time).
Take note of the 'necessary for life support part'.
One of the pairs have reached a point in which they need to collect fresh drinking water. So what do they do? They consult their kit of 'life support' and pull out a condom and think, yes we can use this to collect water (which is very true). What I'm wondering is why on Earth a condom is considered a necessary survival item.
So, what would you consider necessary to survive? Let's do the whole, if you were stuck on an isolated island (notice I did not say DESERT), what would you hope to have in your survival kit?
