Lj pulled away first, her face felt hot and she didn't know if she wanted to cry of joy or pass out. She stared up at Anthony who is now just looking into her eyes, his eyes were wide and he was glad about how dark it was outside because of how red his face was. They were both standing in silence and it wasn't as if they wanted to stay in silence, they had a lot to say but neither could spit it out.

Anthony stepped back slightly, it made Lj lightly nervous because he looked as if he thought it was a mistake and that it shouldn't of happened. "I'm sorry." was all he said to her and she was slightly confused with why he was apologising, "The kiss, you look a bit uncomfortable and I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable." he began to ramble on about things that weren't true.

Lj just put her finger to his lip and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him into a tight hug. She felt his breathing slow down as he hugged her back, hands rested above her waist, trying not to do anything wrong.

It felt strange, it was something that neither ever predicted would happen between them. Everything that had happened over the last six months they have gone from hating each other to becoming friends to finally realising what was there from the start. They both liked each other from the first day they met but everything put those feelings back but nothing could change what they knew now.

Anthony slightly pulled back to look Lj in the eyes, she was smiling at him which caused him to smile right back. He wanted to ask her what this all meant now and even more, he wanted to ask her to the end of the year dance. The dance was held for the middle schoolers that were leaving for the high school next year and he really wanted to take her.

"L, I don't know what to say about this but I'm really happy and I just wanted to ask you something." She nodded for him to continue to his question, arms still around him. "You know the dance? I was wondering if you could go to it with me?"

She grinned at him, "You asking me on a date LaRusso?" she questioned, eyebrows raised and he instantly remembered the day that she had asked him to the drive in, he began to smile back.

"I guess so Wu, glad I can make another dream of yours to come true." She pushed him back slightly, playfully but strong enough to make him stumble over his feet slightly and pull
himself back towards her. "That's the second tonight, am I right?" Lj rolled her eyes which is caused him to smile even more than before. She slightly shuffled back and grabbed her bag off the floor and looked down at her phone, her curfew was in about thirty minutes.

"I've gotta get moving Anthony." His face slightly dropped down and he nodded because he also had to be home soon. Lj looked at him and was unsure on how to say goodbye to him, leading her to put her hand up for a high five. She instantly cringed at this action and dropped her hand, "Uhm I'm just gonna go? Bye."
