𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙞 𝙭 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧 : 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙩 𝙊𝙣𝙚𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

𝟭𝟭.'𝗜𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 , 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂'

She was the most sweetest person I'd ever seen , her eyes were a hazel color I couldn't get over so when she looked at me it's like her and her smile burned a hole in me , a hole of desperation.

I had to have her , but I couldn't bring myself forward to show it or tell it , Erwin knew , of course he knew , he was much more of an observer than a listener so when I complained about her cleaning duty and late arrival too practice it wasn't hard too tell that some feelings had built between myself and y/n .

I called her too my office later on that day too tell her but nothing but harassment , slurs of no form of way that I was attending came out at her .

"You are always so late too practice , you have no life I don't see why it's possible to be that late " I told her , the face she made at me gave me nothing but chills down my spine .

"Well...I was helping my mother , she's sick and I stop by every morning too make sure that she's still ok sir "she sighed looking up at me , and I immediately went silent , loosing my mother was a hard toll especially at the age I was at with no care in the world , how could I possibly know what it felt like too care for or be cared for .

"Did I ask about your mother , I asked about you , your cleaning is so filthy, your lack of training disgust me and Jesus this hair , do away with it " She brushed her thick curls out of her face and put it into a puff low ponytail .

Her little face , and her ears popped out more , her eyes popped more , everything was shown too me . She looked so pretty and it ached me that I even told her that.

Somehow I could just tell she was fighting back the tears from falling , she'd dealt with a lot of things like this but somehow my big mouth was dragging her too her breaking point .

I lied about my complaints , I lied about everything, she was ranking overall 5 in best combat , I put her on cleaning duty mostly cause she was impressively the one person who cleaning skills was closer to mine , I didn't want her in my office too complain , I wanted her in here too see her and somehow my mind wouldn't just let it go because now... she was drying her eyes with the sleeves of her dirty uniform .

"I'm sorry sir , I'll try to do better, but I can't stop taking care of my mother , she's the only one I have left and I just can't do that so if it's possible , I won't come here anymore , I'll spend my time on my mother and leave the scouts " that day broke me , I didn't see her for weeks after that , and those weeks turned into months , those months almost turned into years.

I came too my breaking point , I caught myself running through the darkness to where I use too remember her house being , which was obviously still in the same place , when I reached the door step , I knocked softly , I haven't saw her in so long she could be doing anything , she could've been married , anything and it dawned on me , when she opened the door , she was in a yellow gown that stopped at her ankles, her hair was in a thick fully style , her deep brown curls match making her eyes , and her pretty brown cheeks flushed with red .

"Captain Levi -" I took a few steps back and i felt my breath hitch in my throat , all in just 2 1/2 years, I held onto the love I had for her , now that I was here my mind was shattered, though my heart was still the same .

"Your pregnant-"she looked down at her stomach and held it in her hands ," Umm yeah , it's a long story , it's nice too see you though , I didn't think you would remember me " she smiled but somehow I just couldn't take my eyes off the new life growing inside of her , who's child was it ? , all those months I spent out there fighting for freedom , wishing she was alongside me, she was gone out of my life and starting anew one , why didn't I just stop her that day and confess? , is it too late now ? .
