Blind Channel One shots

Sorry, I can't sleep ~ Joel x Olli

The Blind Channel guys had a sleepover at Joonas place. Joel slept on the sofa. Olli was sleeping on the floor next to Joonas, but his nightmare suddenly woke him up from his deep sleep.

POV: Olli

My nightmares will kill me someday. I woke up exactly 20 minutes ago and am now walking through Joona's kitchen as if bitten by a tarantula. I've already drunk the glass of water. The panic is slowly spreading in my head and my steps are always the same but they are getting louder and louder. Suddenly two hands grab my shoulders and bring my body to a standstill. I slowly turn around just to look at Joel's sleepy face.

Joel: "Olli what the hell are you doing here? Go back to sleep."

Olli: " I'm sorry Joel I can't sleep. I'm scared that I'll wake up from this horrible nightmare in 2 hours. The dream repeats itself every night. I can't do this anymore."

Tears were now running down my face and I looked at the floor. I didn't dare to look at him, I was just embarrassed. But Joel didn't hesitate and put his arms around me and hugged me. His sleep shirt was wet from the tears that flowed from my eyes. His head was on mine and his hand was slowly stroking up and down my back. I slowly calmed down and lifted my head to see his face. My hands were on his chest and one of his hands was on my cheek and the other on my hip. We kept eye contact until we were both red as tomatoes. His face came closer to mine making me blush even more.

Joel: " You look cute when you blush, Olli."

Olli: " Thank you. You too, Joel."

Joel: "Come on let's go to the sofa and cuddle for a bit, ok?"

Olli: "Ok."

He took my hand and pulled me up to the sofa where he lay down first. I laid down next to him and snuggled up to him. My head rested on his chest and my hand on his stomach and one of his hands ran up and down my back. Joel's presence just calmed me down. His heartbeat, his hand on my back, and his slow breathing, everything about him. I listened to Joel's heartbeat and realized that I had been attracted to Joel for a while. Whenever he was near me, looked at me, or talked to me, butterflies spread in my stomach. The more I thought about him, the more I realized how much I loved Joel. slowly my eyes grew heavier and finally, they closed. I fell asleep even if I was still scared to sleep but in Joel's arms I felt safe, nothing could happen to me here and my nightmares left me alone.

*The next morning*

POV: Joel

When I woke up, Olli was still sleeping in my arms. Joonas, Niko, and Aleksi were already awake. All three sat in the kitchen with a cup of coffee and wrote a song. I didn't want to wake Olli up, so I lay there and snuggled up to him again. My eyes slowly closed again and I fell asleep again. When I woke up the second time, the others had already disappeared, probably in the studio or something, but Joonas had left us a note that Olli and I didn't have to come to the studio. On the note was a big wink smiley which meant that he knew that I was into Olli. Hopefully, he doesn't have a picture of us cuddling on the sofa. But my guess was confirmed when he sent me a picture of Olli and me cuddling. thanks, Joonas. When I wanted to put my cell phone back on the table, I noticed that Olli was slowly waking up. His eyes slowly opened and I could see a smile on his lips. He slept through the night without a nightmare. He slowly turned his head toward me and smiled at me. That smile is just like a drug to me. It makes me so incredibly happy.

Olli: "Good morning Joel."

Joel: "Good morning Olli. How did you sleep?"

Olli: "I slept well but just because you were with me. What about you?"

Joel: "I slept well too. You know what? I need coffee!"

Olli: "Oh my god me too! wait here I will go to the kitchen and get us some, ok?"

Joel: "Ok."

Olli nodded and got up and went straight to the kitchen to make coffee for him and me. After a few minutes, he came back with the two coffee cups. After we finished our coffee and got ready for the day, we decided to go to my place. When we arrived at my house, I opened the apartment door and took off my shoes, which Olli did too. I had made myself comfortable on my sofa when Olli asked me if we could cuddle. After he had asked me he put on the dachshund look and now I really couldn't say no. So I opened my arms and Olli snuggled up to me like a little kid. He was so incredibly cute. After a while, he buried his head in the crook of my neck, lifted his head, and looked deep into my eyes. My gaze wandered from his dark blue eyes to his pink lips. finally, I bridged the last bit between us and kissed him. After a little shock, he returned the kiss. His lips were a bit rough but also so soft. Out of breath we broke apart and smiled at each other. Overwhelmed with the happiness we both wanted more so I put my hands on his cheeks and pulled him to me. Our lips fit together perfectly like a puzzle. After several minutes we parted from each other breathlessly and now I saw my chance.

Joel: " Olli, lately I've noticed that I like you more than just a good friend. whenever I see you or talk to you I get butterflies in my stomach and I noticed that whenever you were near me I got incredibly nervous. Also now I wanted to ask you if you want to be my boyfriend?"

Olli: " Oh my god of course I want to be your boyfriend Joel. I love you so much."

Joel: " I love you too, honey."
