On My Own {Lauren Cimorelli Love Story}

Chapter 2

Lauren's POV

I looked in the mirror at my new school uniform, while Christian read the brochure for "Sacramento Academy." out loud to Nick. My new uniform was okay, white polo, black blazer with the school emblem on the chest pocket, black tie, a grey skirt, white socks and black shoes. According to the rules we can wear whatever we want on Fridays but every other day we have to wear the uniform. The rules also said I had to wear my hair in a ponytail, okay so the school's a lil' strict but it's not that bad.......

"....WOW! 2 pools, 6 restaurants and even a movie theater!" Christian gasped, "You gotta be excited."

"Yeah I am," I smiled, "But imma miss my FAVORITE brothers."

Christian laughed before standing up from Lisa's bed and walking over to me. I told him last week after Alex found out and since then he's been spending a lot of time with me. I think he wants to make up for lost time, he was always with Dani or Nick and Joey we never really spent time together. Now he wouldn't leave my side.

"Lauren, are you sure you want to go?" He asked suddenly,

"I'm sure."

"Why though?" His voice cracked slightly, "Is cause everyone was treating you badly?"

I sighed and lead him back over to Lisa's bed to sit down. 

"Sorta," I admitted, "Look, all my life i've been compared to our sisters. And by leaving them behind I can become my own person, no comparison's. I can be myself."

He slowly nodded. I went to stand up but Christian stopped me by wrapping me in a hug.

"Imma miss you Laur." He said quietly,

"I'm gonna miss you too." 

He let me go and I stood up again, ruffling his hair as I did. It's not like there'd be NOBODY I knew at the new school, Christina's boyfriend Nick was a teaching assisstant there so i'd be fine. I could go to him if I needed brotherly advice. In fact he should be here soon to take me up to the boarding school.

"LAUREN, NICKS HERE TIME TO GO!" Dad yelled up the stairs,

"KAY!!" I shouted back,

I ran over to my suitcase and zipped it up, I pulled it to the door which Christian held open and took one final look around my room. I'm gonna miss hearing Dani's german sleep talk. Lisa's music leaking through her headphones and the usual hustle and bustle around this place.

Christina's POV

"NICK!" I shouted happily leaping into my boyfriends arms,

"Chrissy!" He said back hugging me,

Me and the rest of my family stood in the hall to see Lauren off. My baby sister's going to grow up without me. There is no way i'm gonna let her be outta my sight so i'm gonna get Nick to help.

"LAUREN, NICKS HERE TIME TO GO!" Dad yelled up the stairs,

"KAY!!" 09]

"Look after her okay? And tell me her every move."

Nick look confused for a moment, "You mean spy on your little sister?"

I nodded, "Pleeaase!"

"Fine," He groaned, "I will."

As if on cue Lauren appeared on the stairs dragging her heavy suitcase behind her, Christian was trying to help her get it down but not being very successful. Alex jogged up the steps to help them. Once firmly on the ground Lauren hugged Mom and Dad goodbye. They went back over thei rules, Then Lauren hugged Christian, Joey, Little Nick, Alex and Mike. I went and stood by the girls and soon enough  she turned to us. In return we turned away, I heard her sigh and walk away. Only after we heard her say her goodbyes and the door close did we turn around.

"Your aweful people." Christian growled before storming off,

"Christian?" Joey said,

"Wait!" Little Nick called as they both ran after him.
