(a word of four definitions/meanings)

The first and lesser known definition, sometimes known as the true definition:

A beginning

It was a foggy spring morning when the family got up. A faint smell of

blueberry poppy seed muffins and bacon filled the air. It was always

a nice smell to wake up to. Starriex slowly rolled out of bed and onto

the floor, no one was going to have to wake her up today, the

grandparents were home! But after lying on the (somehow

comfortable) bluish carpeted floor for a few seconds she finally

sprang up, grabbed her slightly small bathrobe and ran to her closet.

The door didn't creak as she walked in to wake Clover and Dandelion,

her guinea pigs. They greeted her with enthusiastic squeaking like

summer birds. "Breakfast!" Starriex told the guinea pigs, knowing

they probably didn't recognize the word any more than a worm

rose on her hind legs and leaned against the cage wall and

Dandelion walked over to where they got their fresh hay.

"I know, I know." Starriex said to Dandelion and reached

for the bag of hay. As soon as she opened the bag the air

was filled with the musty and truly green smell of hay.

She grabbed a generous handful and put it in the cage,

trying her hardest not to spill it everywhere. Once Starriex

had checked that they had enough water and that they were

settled in she ran to her door, excited for a day out on the town

 with her family.

Starriex settled down at the kitchen table, everyone was there already,

that is except for Dad. He always was one of the last up.

The entire room seemed to be filled with the light yellow

glow of a young sun. Phydren was chatting with grandpa

while simultaneously working on a crossword with grandma.

Mom looked up from reading her book at a creaking from

down the hall. Dad stauntered in looking around, bleary eyed,

putting on his glasses while Fro (our dog) bounded up to him,

holding a toy in her mouth. "Good morning Dad!" Starriex said,
