Chapter 24

"what are you doing here?!" Jimin whisper yelled at the male who speed walked towards their direction.

"i-i want to see him. I want to see tae!" the male responded.

"we can't let you do that man." Yoongi said, trying to pull the male away from the room.

"leave me the fuck alone! why would you stop me from seeing him! I want to see him!"

"why would we let you see him? you abused him! you became an asshole even after knowing what he's been through! why should we le-"

"are you the one saying this Jimin? you're the one who told me about his condition!"

"I'm very much aware and that was a terrible mistake. I shouldn't have-"

"leave him Jimin. I want to talk to him." hoseok says, shutting the door to taehyung's room behind him.

jungkook's eyes unintentionally stare longingly at the door.

"what do you want jungkook?" hoseok asks, glaring at the said male.

"to see tae."

"why? so you can hit him again?" hoseok asks, clenching his fists. he glares daggers into the slightly taller male and without thinking, throws his fist to his jaw.

jungkook groans, his eyebrows furrowed and eyes shutting in pain.

"n-no!" jungkook responds, his heart thumping in his chest at the glare he was receiving from the other male.

hoseok was usually all smiley and laughy. seeing him the way he looked was... new.

"so why'd you want to see him? huh?"

"hoseok, taehyung wants to see him." Jimin says, breaking the tension that was choking the hall.

"what? why? he's dangerous-"

"look hoseok, taehyung is an adult and he'll call us if he needs anything. let them talk." yoongi says, caressing hoseok's back.

hoseok sighs, taking a deep breath and glaring at Jungkook.

"I'm outside here, I'll kill you if anything happens to him I swear to God."

Jungkook sighs as he walks towards the door of taehyung's room, taking a deep breath and pushing the door open.

his eyes fill with tears at the sight of taehyung looking so frail on the hospital bed.

"t-tae-" he calls out as he hurries towards the said male who flinches at the sight of him.

jungkook halts his movements, eyes stuck to the floor and hands falling to his sides.

"h-hi." taehyung stutters out, gulping.

"i... " jungkook trails, sighing. "I'm sorry." he whispers, the tears finally rolling down his cheeks.

taehyung chuckles bitterly, his eyes shutting as he tries to take in as much air as he could.

"you're sorry?"

jungkook lets out a barely audible 'yes' which thankfully, taehyung hears.

"you knew jungkook." he says, his lips wobbling, "you knew what I'd been through! I had told you about my god forsaken life." taehyung says, folding the guardrails of the bed and letting his legs fall to the side of the bed.

"you knew I had been abused jungkook! you knew how I had been treated by my previous lover! you came to me! you wanted to he with me and of course whenever I try to fall in love, the same bullshit happens! I hate you!"

jungkook's eyes quickly fly to taehyung's face, "no, tae-" he says, moving closer to the male.

"stay back!" taehyung yells, folding his knees to his chest, "stay back please. you'll hurt me!"

"o-okay. I won't come closer." jungkook says, staring at his feet.

"come closer." taehyung says in a soft voice, harshly wiping his eyes.

"what?" jungkook questions confusedly.

"come. closer." taehyung emphasizes through gritted teeth.

"i-i-" jungkook stutters walking towards the figure on the bed, looking down at his feet as he finally arrives beside the bed.

taehyung raises his hand and jungkook flinches, hissing as taehyung caresses a forming bruise on the side of his cheek.

"does it hurt?" taehyung asks gently.

jungkook looks at him wide eyes before nodding slowly.

"you should get it cleaned. hobi's punches aren't exactly soft you know?"

"I'm sorry taehyung." jungkook mumbles, furrowing his eyebrows.

"just... go. please. leave!" taehyung says, tears starting to fall down his cheeks as he grips the bed railing.

"tae, are you o-"

"get out! please!" he cries, jungkook finally noticing the male's tears and leaving the room.

he could only curl up in the bed and cry his heart out.

his life was falling apart again.

would it ever stop?

hello.

I'm so sorry for not updating.

I have had the most busiest exam period of my life and it was terrible.

I never want to write exams again.

for now, I'm done and I'm not looking forward to the second semester. school is shitty.

I hate school.

forgive me for not updating my books.

I will go back to my update schedule as before.
