His laugh rings throughout the auditorium. My pace quickens as I follow the sound of his laughter. I soon see his brown bleached locks, my pace increases and I run right into what I thought were his arms. I somehow end up on the ground, my forehead throbbing. “Niall?” I call out into the darkness. There’s no reply. “Niall!” I call out again, louder this time. There’s still no reply. I then sprint, the fastest I’ve ever sprinted in my entire life. I find myself squeezing inbetween tight spaces and weaving inbetween objects in the pitch black obyss. My interminable run soon came to an end as I saw light shining right through. I slow down to a walk and I soon arrive at the source of the light. “Liam! Liam come push me!” he squeals, swaying back and forth on the swingset. I feel a smile spread across my face. There’s my gorgeous... well I actually don’t know. I haven’t asked him to be my boyfriend, but we’ve been on plenty of dates. I know for a fact he likes me and I like him so why not take the plunge? I jog over to him and he gives me a bracey smile. My heart flutters in my chest as he giggles, while I push him on the swing. “Liam push me higher!” he giggles and, as he demanded, I push him higher until the swing was level with the top of the set. “Niall I have to stop or else you’ll go flying off!” he turns his head around and frowns. “Fine. Slow me down though!” I grab hold of the metal chains and start to slow him down. I do an ‘underdog’ and start to slow him down from the front. With an unexpected stop, I go flying into Niall, making us both go backwards, me landing on top of him. A groan escapes those small pink perfect lips and his eyes flutter shut. I gasp and roll off of Niall, landing softly beside him on the lush green grass. Surprisingly, Niall rolls on top of me, a cheeky grin plastered on his porcelain skin with the occasional freckle. His slight dimple sticks out as he still is still smiling, running his soft hands over my buzz cut. “You know Liam, I’m kind of upset that you haven’t asked me out yet” he says, a slight frown apparent on his face. “Niall, I want to ask you out, but....Idon’twannaberejected” I rush out those last words. Niall looks at me, pure confusion written all over his face. “What was that last part Liam?” he asks, and I sigh. “I don’t want to be rejected” I say, avoiding all eye contact with him. After a few minutes of silence, Niall’s voice interjects with the intense silence. “Liam. Look at me please” his voice is strong, stronger than I’ve ever heard it. He makes me feel so vulnerable. So...so wanted and small. I still avoid his gaze. I feel two fingers press against my chin and I am met with Niall’s sad expression. “Liam, I would never reject you. Hell, if I did I think you would have to check me into the nut house” he laughs and I let out a hearty laugh. My confidence level just about boosted from 0% to 100%. He stares intently into my brown eyes. I squirm a bit under his intense stare and he leans in. “Is there something you wanted to ask me Liam?” he whispers, very softly, his teeth grazing my earlobe. I gulp and feel goosebumps rise on my skin. “Niall James Horan, will you be my boyfriend?” I ask him, still afraid of the possible rejection. He smirked down at me, running a finger down my cheek. “Liam James Payne, I wouldn’t have it any other way.” he replies. He starts to lean forward, and I didn’t realize I was leaning in too until I saw his eyes flutter shut. I close mine and feel his hot breath against mine and-
“LIAM PAYNE WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK ARE YOU STARING AT!” I hear someone scream, snapping me from my, what I thought was a reality, daydream. I turn to a confused and distraught looking Harry, glaring at him.
“Why the hell did you snap me from my thoughts?” I growl at him. His large hands fling up in innocence.
“One, because you’ve been staring at nothing for like 20 minutes and two, it’s lunch and Mr. Tomlinson said he’s our lunch monitor!” Harry squeals, clapping his hands together, and grinning so widely I’m afraid his face with break in half and his dimples are extremely deep.
I reluctantly stand up, brushing some dust off of my black jeans and follow Harry back inside of the school and down multiple flights of stairs until we reach the hall leading to the lunch room.
