As mystique slowly opened her eyes to see lovely sunlight birds chirping and waves crashing she soon realized that they were on the ocean shore "everybody ok?, Is everybody hurt?" She said to the kids, Hank and-
"nightcrawler?" As he slowly turned letting her see the painful wound that was caused by a bullet "ho-how is this possible they weren't carrying guns with real ammo in them" she said "it must've been a sniper" Hank said as nightcrawler slowly descend to the ground
"No no no no no stay with me pls pls stay with me" as mystique cried helplessly knowing she can't do anything about it "it's ok, it's ok, hey atleast u guys are safe right" nightcrawler said in the mids of all the pain he's going through "no I can't afford to loose anyone, not again" mystique said
As Hank covers the eyes of the children who were traumatized of what happened, as nightcrawler slowly closed his eyes "goodbye" "no no no no! NO! NOOO!" as she sobs while holding him in her arms
While Hank Tries to comfort the five children whom they saved from the attack as mystique wiped her tears "let's go" she said to the children and Hank "but where do we go" one of the child said "yeah I'm scared" what if they'll find us" they said, "now children let's not-" as Hank was about to scold the kids but was cut off by mystique "it's ok don't be scared" as she tried to comfort one of the kids to the other "we're gonna be fine, but for now let's try to find a cave to sleep in, sounds good?", "Ok" they replied to her "and what about nightcrawler?", "Poor nightcrawler🙁" said tommy...
(LATER THAT day)
"ok kids it's done" mystique said to the kids, as they cheered "ooh fire" one of the kid said "alright let's settle down ok" Hank said "professor Hank we found this while we were playing" as Milo and hazel raised to their horror a dead fish and damn it's a big one "omg where- where did u found this-this big fi-" "we found it got washed off the shore" as they jumped up and down"do you like it?" They said happily Knowing they did something good "yeah" as mystique giggled "I'm so proud of u guys, for being strong and brave" as she looked around where the kids are, seeing them smile makes her happy" ok kids why don't we cook this, yeah?" Hank said, the kids cheerfully agreed
(30 mins later)
"kids settle down and eat ok?" As the kids didn't reply cause they were busy munching on their food, as Hank giggled then approached mystique
"hey how you holding up?" Hank said to mystique sitting in the corner on a log "..." But hank didn't get a reply, as he was about to leave "I'm scared" Hank stopped on his tracks "I'm scared because... because what if we fail, what if we fail protecting these innocent kids, what if we get separated and they'd be on their own, what if we-" as she was cut off by Hank "hey, hey calm down we won't fail" "how would u know" " because I believe in you, I've seen u beat bad guys before and heck I've seen you beat the shit out of Erik" as they both laughed reminiscing the old days "yeah maybe You're right" " hey I'm always right" as Hank joked to lighten her up a bit, while he got shoved slowly by mystique, then there was silent "hey don't worry nightcrawler is in a good place now"said Hank, as mystique smiled
Morning comes by, mystique then slowly woke up from her sleep " keep an eye out for them and, DONT LOOSE THEM THIS TIME THEY HAVE THE KID WE'RE LOOKING FOR GOT IT?!" As their leader said " "yes sir!"
Said his troops " good now scram" as they split up mystique hurriedly Woke the kids and Hank up "they are here somehow they found us we have to move now"
"THEY'RE IN HERE!" one of the soldier said, "WATCH OUT!" Tommy shouted he then use his telekinesis powers as shield "GO GO GO"
Mystique shouted "RUN" as they run through the ocean shore while shots are being fired at them
(que intense music)...
"ARH FUCK"Hank tripped "HANK!" mystique shouted then they approached a dead end" oh no we're trapped"hazel said, as an earth wall ascend behind them to cover them "good work Lea " Jake said "kids be careful"
Mystique said to the kid's "hey Tommy use your telekinesis to lift that log there so we can escape" mystique said to tommy "ok I'll try" as tommy tried to focus
"GRENADE WE NEED A GRENADE" one of the soldier said "hurry tommy!" Lea said, as tommy used all his energy to lift the giant log "AAAAHHHHH!!" Tommy shouted
"yes go go go guys climb up" mystique said, as she helped the kids climbed up " cmon Hank u can do it c'mon" as they climbed up the log leading to the forest " cmon let's go!" Mystique shouted, tommy turned around and use his powers to throw the log so that they can't follow them, as tommy happily smiled of what he did, he then turned around to see them gone-
