Lee Suhan glanced at the man who stood in front of her having a small forced smile with everyone's attention on them. She didn't understand why he would suddenly ask her to dance with him, that was also the opening dance. Everyone was looking excitedly in their direction and some with jealousy and some with anger.
"My pleasure Ceo Kang Taemu" Suhan stood up gracefully and held Taemu's hand as he slowly lead her to the middle and possed until the music started. Suhan placed her left hand on his shoulder as the other held his big hands that had some callous which was warm. One of his arms was placed on Suhan's waist and pulled her closer to him as they dance according to the rhythm with their gazes locked with each other.
"May I ask why our great Mister Kang Taemu chose me to be his dance partner?"
"Because I don't think the other ladies here are a match to hold my hand"
Hearing what Taemu just said Suhan grinned at him "Does that mean I am worthy to be your opponent?"
"I just choose you because you look like you had no one to dance with"
Right at this moment, Suhan wanted to step on his foot with her heels but everyone was watching them. The music rhythm changed as the two changed positions and Suhan was twirled by the man before they got back to their position and the other couples joined them.
Suhan slightly lean in and whispered to his ear so that no one could hear except him "Kang Taemu, did you realize that sometimes you have a pride like a peacock"
Taemu smirked and he just nods his head "Did you realize that now?"
"Yes, you were just the stupid grasshopper with pride but now I realize that you are a peacock" Suhan didn't give up at all, and Taemu felt his interest sparkling up every time the woman in front of him opened up her mouth.
