The Premiere

Chapter 2

A few weeks go by as y/n becomes increasingly annoyed at her tiny Los Angeles apartment, which balances on the brink of collapsing. The trash littering the pavements in her neighbourhood grosses her out, and a bothersome stench permeates every building on her street. "Ugh", she thinks, "maybe I should just quit my dream of becoming an actress". Just as she grabs her phone to dial her mother, y/n notices an incoming phone call from her manager.

Panicked that he might still be mad about the embarrassing encounter with Harry at the premiere, y/n gathers her courage and picks up. "Hey y/n, how are you doing?", he asks. She carefully answers that she is just fine. "I've got some great news! You've been asked for the lead role in a big summer blockbuster movie!" Y/n is speechless, as these roles are usually only played by A-list, household name celebrities. Why would they ask her?

"So, what do you think?", asks her manager. Not really knowing how to react, y/n asks who will be playing the male lead. "Oh, uhm, I have been asked specifically not to disclose that. But I can assure you, this is a great opportunity for you to make a commercial breakthrough!"

It's the first day of filming, and y/n strolls onto the shooting location. A big man in a suit stops her. "We do not allow fans on-stage". Y/n shoots him a quizzical look, followed by a frown of realisation. "I'm here for work, mister.", y/n explains. The man doesn't believe her however, and mumbles something about how crazy "this guy's fans" are. Finally, y/n gets picked up from the gate by the producer. He looks her up and down and disdain is clearly visible on his face. It conveys something along the lines of "I don't see what he sees, but you were highly recommended, so I hope you live up to the hype." Y/n follows him across the set, smiling at all the new faces she passes, yet only gets dirty looks in return, from almost all the actors and crew. When she gets to her makeup trailer she is introduced to her stylist, Todd. "Wow, your hair is absolutely gorgeous!", he leads. Y/n blushes and shyly introduces herself. "Did the rest of the crew already try and kill you?", asks Todd whilst showing y/n to her seat in front of the mirror. "They don't really seem to like me", y/n answers. Todd looks at her with a sympathetic look on his face. "Oh honey, don't you worry. From now on, I will be your token gay bestie, and I will do everything in my power to make all those mean little crew members jealous of you!" After her make-up is done being applied, y/n is taken to be introduced to her co-star. Her heart skips a beat when she gazes right into the dreamy orbs of none other than Harry Styles! "Oh, there she is, the girl that got away", he says. Y/n starts blushing, but manages to feel brave enough to strike up a conversation with him.

Months of filming go by and Harry and y/n get closer and closer. After one month of filming, Harry first asked y/n to grab some coffee together, and ever since then they've been seeing each other outside of work as well. The paparazzi swiftly started picking up on their connection and the sexual tension between the two. Although some people think the two are dating, many people call y/n a gold-digger, saying she's only with him for his fame and money. It makes y/n shy and self conscious, but Harry keeps reassuring her that it is okay and that those people are only jealous because she is the big star of the film. Y/n asks Harry if it bothers him that the media say they have a relationship even though they are just friends. He wraps his arms around her and hugs her tightly. "I do not mind at all. We'll see where things go between us".

The next day on set, it is time for the y/n's most dreaded moment of the whole film, the sex scene. She asks Todd for advice. "Oh girl, you don't need to worry! Harry is soooo handsome, and hell I know you think so too! I wouldn't consider it a punishment to get involved with him. Besides, the two of you have so much sexual chemistry, I see you two filming and I'm like, "get a room you two!"", Todd laughs. Y/n turns the brightest shade of red, but soon her and Todd make many more sexually tinted jokes to relieve some of the tension.

When Harry and Y/N start filming the scene it quickly becomes clear that y/n is very nervous and awkward when it comes to the sex part. The director keeps screaming at both of them to do better and make it look more natural. When it is time to undress, y/n starts to panic. Harry keeps telling her that it's okay, but y/n cannot take the pressure anymore. Eventually she runs off the set crying. Harry runs after her and starts hugging her. When she gets calmer it starts raining so they quickly find a place to shelter from the rain. The place is very small and because they are so close together they share their first kiss. The kiss is super intense and afterwards, y/n shares that it was her first kiss ever. Harry finds out that the akward moments during preparation of the sex scene were due to the fact that y/n is, in fact, a virgin. When y/n asks, he also reveals that he did not sleep with her when she blacked out at the premiere. That night, he invites her to his house for a real romantic date where his chef will prepare a luxurious dinner for them, and Harry promises he will help her feel more confident before doing the dreaded scene.

That night she dresses in her nicest dress and Todd helps her look amazing. When Harry picks her up from her apartment and sees the state of it he declares that from now on she will have a room in his house because it is unhealthy for her to live here. He calls a number on his phone and a few minutes later he tells her that the movers will be there later this week to move all her things to his house. A few hours later, y/n is enjoying the delicious dinner, but with every course she gets more and more nervous. At the same time, she's also excited to see what they are going to do. At the end of the dinner, Harry guides her to his bedroom and keeps reassuring her that he will be gentle and she can stop at any time. While the two are having sex, Harry keeps kissing her, making sure she is okay and that he's respecting all her boundaries. After they both finish, they share a long embrace and as they both start to fall asleep, they tell each other "I love you" for the first time.

The next day y/n wakes up in Harry's bed again, but this time she is not alone and also doesn't have a headache. She remembers last night very clearly but as she looks at Harry, who is still asleep she starts to wonder whether the "I love you"-part was a dream or not. Harry starts to wake up and grabs her in a tight hug and says "I am not letting you run away this time baby". As he places a kiss on top of her forehead. From that moment on they are both in love with each other and their tension on set turns into chemistry. No matter what scene the director throws at them, they both perform amazingly and y/n gets compliments from everyone.

At the movie premiere, Harry and y/n walk the red carpet. Harry is asked by the press about y/n and he says she is the love of his life. As y/n looks away to pose for another camera, Harry gets down on his knees and proposes to her. All cameras flash and the world disappears for a moment for y/n. All she sees is Harry. She says yes and Harry lifts her in the air to spins her around.

Months go by and the movie becomes a great success. There is even a sequel in the making. Y/n and Harry get married in a small private ceremony and get ready for their next adventure together!
