Chapter 12

After the fight, you had a talk with Tengen and his wives. You were in love with them and, you were very open about your feelings. You felt bad because he already had three wives but, they accepted you with open arms. You became his official, but unofficial Omega. He knew of your feelings for the other Pillars and, surprisingly he wasn't against sharing. 

"I already share three, there is no need to be stingy with you! Wouldn't be flamboyant!" He was 100 percent lying but, said it to appease you. You allowed it since you had more pressing matters to focus on right now which was the Pillars coming back to the Butterfly Mansion. You and Aoi were going to have your hands full. Once the Pillars were back at the Mansion you were pleasantly surprised to see it was untouched but, the smell of demons lingered. Your intuition had saved Aoi and your own life. 

Tanjiro was injured the most out of all the Pillars. It would be a while until he woke up. The first one to wake up was Mitsuri about a week after the final fight. She lost an arm and, her ear but, she was alive. She was going to be okay. You were running yourself ragged switching between the rooms. You and Aoi and the three little girls, as well as the kakushi, were running the butterfly mansion while the nine pillars were recovering. 

"Ah..." You were by her side in an instant running a cool rag across her forehead. Her hair was out of its braids creating a pink and green halo around her. She was beautiful. 

"I'm so happy to see those pretty green eyes." She was half-awake. She gave you a smile before falling unconscious again. She would wake up again but, it was nice to see her. You changed the wrappings on her arm and ear to make sure no infection settled in and gave her medicine through a syringe. She wasn't awake to take medicine so she was being given nutrients through her arm. You watched her for a few more minutes before heading out to check on everyone else. It became routine for you to do this.

It seemed that after Mitsuri woke up, it created a chain reaction amongst all the pillars. After Mitsuri was Obanai, then Sanemi and Genya at the same time, then Giyu and Shinobu, and lastly Gyomei, Rengoku, and Muichiro. None of them stayed awake until a full week later. Genya had a scar running down his body from the top of his head all the way down to between his legs. You didn't want to think about what uppermoon 1 did to him. Sanemi had more scars and two fingers missing, Muichiro was missing his left arm below the elbow and his foot, Giyu was missing his right arm, Shinobu was missing an eye and her left hand, Gyomei was missing his left leg below the knee, Rengoku was missing his left eye, and Obanai right eye was gone. All of them had scars but, are alive. They all are alive.

"You seem a lot happier Y/N" You turned to Aoi with a grin. Of course, you were happy. By whatever God, spiritual being there was out there your pillars came back home. You were way too happy and, you didn't want to mention how you kissed them all. They needed to heal first before they try to come to terms with your feelings. You wouldn't even be surprised if they forgot your crazed, emotional confessions. Well, not so much crazed but definitely emotional. 

"I am happy. They are all here and alive. There are no more demons. Tanjiro saved his sister. Life is good. This is actually the best thing to have happened." You didn't mention your feelings and, neither did she. You did still love them and, that wasn't changing. You wanted them to heal first and, then maybe if you're brave enough you'll mention it. Maybe. That's a very low maybe. 

"Yeah...we can all have normal lives." It sounded so surreal but, it was the truth. You guys can live normally. As normally as one can anyway. You imagined it would be so hard for the pillars. Speaking of them. 

"I'm going to go check on them." Aoi grinned at you shooing you away. You heard her yelling at the kakushi not even a minute later. The first room you checked on was Giyu. He was recovering very fast and, for once he wasn't itching to leave. You entered his room and, he turned to you with a smile.
