Chapter 3

Once, I was at the manner no one was there. I took this opportunity to take my things and go. I got my torn clothes and I wrote a letter on the little table in my room. I told them that I wanted to find a friend of mine and that I need to find some answers about my marks. Once I left I headed to the Virgin Islands. I was hoping to look for Kiriko and Kai. I found no one but the old library about the marks. I looked there and I looked at the three M marks. I found out that I had Medusa's mark, Merlin's mark and Malkyor's mark. The book told me that if all three marks burn you it means that you aren't worthy of holding it. It said that the burns will start out as a heat pad then increase to boiling you from the inside out. Until you die of internal burning. It said that if Medusa's mark burnt you it meant that she finds you unworthy. She continues to burn you until you can't handle it. Eventually you stab the mark which is going to kill you. If you are burned by Merlin it means that he finds you unworthy. He's is the same as Medusa's torture. If Malkyor burns you once it means that he is testing you. If he burns you twice it means he finds you unworthy. Which his torture is the same as the other two marks. So, far only two have accepted me and it seems now that Malkyor accepts me. Once I found out about the three M's mark. I took the books and I also took the ones about the Malorivians and Ashbirians because I was so excited finding out about the marks. I wanted to find out about the Malorbirian mark. I got the one book about the Shepherd and the Seraphim because it was the only book on them. I took the seven books about them and went back to my motel. I headed to the motel that I was staying at and I found this empty bag and put the books inside it. I planned to stay at the Virgin Islands that was until three weeks later. I get a phone call from Marcy...

"Hello..."

I answered in a bright tone...

"Hello, Makaia? Are you still in the Virgin Islands?"

She asked a little panicked and I smiled...

"I wasn't there for a few weeks but now I'm back for more information about the marks."

I say and I hear her sigh...

"Makaia, do you plan on staying there?"

She asked and I pondered on the question and answer honestly...

"I was planning on staying for a temporary time. Then my plan was to go elsewhere."

I say honestly and she sighed...

"I see. You should visit me someday."

She said and I smiled...

"Yeah, that sounds nice maybe after staying here I will."

I said and we talked for hours until she had to go and I decided to let her go and I hung up. After that I went to sleep. I woke up the next day, I ate and I decided that I was going to leave the Virgin Islands to see Kiriko in Japan. After I showered and got dressed I headed to the airport to Japan. Once there I went to look for her and I called her but she didn't answer. I called Kai and he didn't answer either and I looked everywhere for them. I didn't find them anywhere I decided to leave Japan and find them elsewhere. I headed to California. Once I was there I headed to Tophina because it was the closest city near me. I headed to Tophina and I saw Marcy and she was happy to see me. I headed to the hideout that she was in and once there. I told her, Akira and Shiki everything that happened to me. They weren't surprised and they told me that I should head somewhere safer than Tophina. I didn't question or argue I just nodded and told them that I would. I decided to leave Tophina and headed to a town called Lilling. Once there I decided to stay in a house there. I decided to make a living off of there. I worked at Kirishima's Mask and Supplement store and Dope Sketch's Skater store. I worked at Kirishima's store in the mornings through early afternoons. I worked at Dope Sketch in the late afternoon to closing. I was in bliss I had a red headed male friend named Enjiro and a pink haired girl named Mina and two brunettes named Momo and Maiane. That was in Kirishima's store but in Dope Sketch I had a girl named Kioka, two red headed girls named Holliane and Lailla, my boss Shokichi Oka, my two male employees Reki and Langa. I was in bliss with them, and I would go with Kirishima, Mina, Momo and the blonde male named Katsuki to a bar dance. I would usually end up going to a skater ring called S. It was usually because of jobs for Dope Sketch. I was usually around Shoki or Kioka. So, I wasn't alone unless I absolutely had to be. It was all fine until one night. Enjiro and the others asked me out for a drink, but I told them that I couldn't because of my other job and they understood. They went without me and I smiled and went to Dope Sketch. Once there I was told to get ready to head to S for a few orders. I headed there without Shoki and Kioka. I didn't know anyone there and it was awkward. I just watched a race between an orange haired guy with clown make up on but a badass form. His name was Shadow and a guy named Alex faced him. He had black dreads and blue eyes. Once there I looked around and saw a woman walk up to me with her man. I handed her the skateboard and she was satisfied. I finished up with them and I sighed about how long the deliveries were. I saw Reki and Langa come up to me and smiled at me. I smiled back and stayed for a little bit. It wasn't long after the male with grey eyes and black hair came at me in anger...
