Chapter 2

I stepped out into the Florida sun and drew in a nice deep breath. I love it here, sunny and warm, it makes me feel happy inside.
  
   I closed my door behind me as I pop in some earbuds to listen to music on my walk to the bakery. I put on my favourite song: heatwaves. (YES I KNOW. I KNOW TOTALLY EXPECTED)
  
   I swayed a bit to the music as I walked down the sidewalk/pavement towards the shops.

   Once at the bakery I take out my earbuds and tuck them into my pocket and open the wooden door. The fresh smell of warm bread filled my nose as I smiled and walked up to the lady at the till.

   "Hi Niki! How are you today?" I asked my friend joyfully.
   
    "George!!! I am amazing! The usual?" The pink haired woman behind the till said. I nodded and she spun on her heel to grab me a sandwich.

   Niki passed me a turkey sandwich and I went to sit at the small table in the back of the bakery. Minutes later she came over and sat across from me.

   "I'm on my break" she stated. "Soooo find any cute guys recently!? There was a cute boy in here a few days ago!!" I laughed nervously.

   I came out as gay over a year ago but I can never find a guy that I like who actually likes me back. Niki asks this question every week which is annoying but sweet at the same time. I know she just wants me to be happy.

   "Nope." I responded. She shook her head aggressively.

   "George there will be the guy I swear. He will come eventually!" Niki said reassuringly. She smiled sweetly then her manager yelled at her to get back to work so we said our goodbyes and I started my walk home.

   By the time I got home I had already finished my sandwich and it was 1:00pm.

   "Oh shit!" I muttered. I had to be on sapnaps stream at 1:30.

(Time skip because I'm lazy)

   "Byeeeeeee" Sapnap said ending his stream. I leaned back in my chair after playing almost 5 hours of minecraft with Sapnap, Karl, and Quackity.

   "That was fun!" Karl giggled. "Yeah it was!" Sapnap agreed. I just stayed quiet since I was so tired.

   "I'm going to go guys I'm going to hang with some friends" Quackity said.

   "Yeah I'm going to leave to I'm exhausted" I confessed. After that we all said our goodbyes and went our separate ways for the night.

   I woke with a start. Jeez I was having a weird dream but now I couldn't even remember it! I got out of the comfort of my bed and walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

   I took a nice long sip of the cold liquid then went back to bed but I couldn't get back to bed. My head was spinning with thoughts and it wouldn't stop. So I did what I do every time I can't sleep... I go for a walk. So I threw on a pair of baggy sweatpants and a blue hoodie.

   Was it dumb to go walking in a park at 4 in the morning... yes. Was it the perfect situation to get kidnapped in... also yes but yet it was a way for me to clear my mind.

   I put in my earbuds and started walking. At first I was walking aimlessly but then I decided that since I was in the park why not sit on a bench and listen to some tunes by myself. But apparently I wasn't the only one who was out here in the middle of the night.

   I looked over at the closest bench which was about 20 feet away and there the cutest boy I have ever seen. Messy blonde hair getting in his face, bright emerald eyes that shone under the moonlight and the most stunning body I have ever seen.

   As I was drooling over this guy I realized he was looking at me with a questioning and curious look in his eye. I spun on my heel and sat close by in the grass. That was the time I realized I was in love with the boy on the bench.
