"And why are you late, Tomlinson? Jensen?"

Louis ended up getting us late, which was definitely not a surprise. Most of the time he did, yet I wouldn't go alone, he was my right hand.

"It was my fault, got a flat tyre. 'M sorry ma'am." Louis said, as expected. He always said the same thing. Good thing we had a different teacher every morning.

Miss. Hampton sighed and rolled her eyes. "It's okay, please sit down, quickly."

We both sat down and grabbed our stuff out of our bags. "Well done." I whispered to Louis. He gave me a quick high five and then went back to his usual 'stare out of the window' hour.

After the last period, I walked to the place were Louis and I always waited on each other. Since Louis was the only one with a car, he always picked me up and drove me home.

It was now 4.30 pm. That meant it was 10 minutes after he was supposed to be here. I decided to send him a text and just wait a bit longer, he should be here any minute.

-

"Lay?"

"Layla?"

I felt to arms picking me up. I slowly opened my eyes. Was it dark? I opened my eyes further. Yes, it was definitely dark. I looked up to see Louis. Why was he carrying me? What even happened. I sat down on a bench minutes ago. Right?

"Lou? What are you doing?"

He layed me down in de car. "Oh, I was a bit late and you fell asleep on the bench."

A bit late? It was dark for gods sake. "Okay."

I looked at my phone, wanting to know what time it even was. 9 pm?! Is this a joke?! "Louis? What the hell did you do in 2,5 hours? You could have just texted me!" I saw Louis chewing on the inside of his cheek. "Spill."

"So.. there was this girl and uh-"

"Okay! Never mind! I don't need to know." I rolled my eyes. "Please let me know next time, I don't want to end up falling asleep on a bench every day, okay?" He chuckled and layed his hand on my leg, "Will do."

When we finally arrived at my house, I saw my mom already waiting for me. "You got me in deep shit, Tomlinson." Louis gave my mom a short wave and smiled at her. "Nah, you'll be okay."

I got out of the car and grabbed my bag. "See you soon, Lou."

"See you soon, Lay."
