Chapter 6

"We are going to play double memory!" She said in happy tone and spread the cards on the long table.

"The rules are simple: you must find a match for a card you turned over to find the pair in term of number and suit but if you cannot find a pair, my turn will be mine. Sounds good?" Said Itsuki.

Y/n nodded and begun to gamble. Y/n would go first, he bet 20 million yen and flipped an ace of spade, flipped another card and revealed the ace of diamond. "Although they are the same number, but the suits are different so i lost the first round." Y/n told Itsuki.

"That's right, ok now it's my turn." The latter said as she flipped the card to another. Surprisingly she got the pair so her turn is continued until she couldn't find a pair. "The game is simple the player have to find the same suits with a same number, there's ace of clover to the left , two of diamonds to the right, dammit if I continued to memorise them, it will give me a headache." Ryota though himself whereas Yumeko watched with amused how thrilling the gambling is.

"Hey check it out guys! There's a council member challenge to a student!" The random student said with excitement.

"Do you know who is it?" A girl asked him.

"You won't believe it, it's Y/n Takahashi vs Itsuki Sumeragi!" The latter replied, and all the students went to the cafeteria however Mary is curious about Y/n why lot of people is scared of him sometimes. She sighed and finished wiping the spilled coffee.

Y/n his score is 42/54 whereas Itsuki is 45/54.

"Hehe look like we reach our climax Y/n, now, let's end this game." She said and Y/n said nothing and continued playing. As Itsuki flipped the wrong card, Y/n turned the one card to another, he got three cards in the same suits his score is now 45/54 in other word they are in the same plate.

"Yes, i knew Y/n can catch up!" Ryota said with hope. Yumeko observed the young soulreaper and she started to chuckle,"Akari.."

"Yes?"

"I have a desire to gamble someone." She mumbled.

"Who?" Asked Akari.

"Your brother, he is just like a normal student but inside of him, he has an inner demon, that's why some of the students don't approach him." Yumeko told her.

"Well good luck for that Yumeko." Akari simply said without reactions then Yumeko said thank you. "I knew that will happen, it looks like our life will be heavier than I expected." She thought herself as she must find a way to protect her twin brother. The winner has been announced,it is Itsuki Sumeragi and Y/n is down shamefully.

"Sumeragi, may I play one more time..?" He asked softly. "I tried my best to memorise all the cards and yet I lost, please I beg you, I can't repay my debt." He said with his teary eyes.

Itsuki laughed maniacally and approached Y/n. She admired his hand and said," I didn't know you have beautiful nails Y/n, did you take care of them?" She asked.

"Umm.. no why?" The latter asked.
Itsuki opened her briefcase and showed them her collection nails. "You know, I have a hobby that I loved to collect the nails, and these nails are real." She said with a twisted grin.

"WHAT?! YOU MEAN THEIR NAIL HAS BEEN RIPPED WHEN THEY LOST A GAMBLE AGAINST YOU?!" Ryota exclaimed to her.

"*Giggle *yes, if y/n lost *moan* your nails will be mine." She said as the thunder crashed loudly,"Y/n don't have to-"

"I accept your challenge. " Y/n interrupted Ryota.

"Y/n!!"

"I have to Ryota maybe you have a way to repay my debt." He said to Ryota in convincing manner. This is madness Y/n has to win against Itsuki if he doesn't he will lose his nail. Itsuki took out her two new pack of cards on her briefcase and spread them on the table.

"Well Y/n, you go first. " She let him do his first move. "That's an honour." He thanked her while analysing the cards. Itsuki smirked confidently as she knows she will win at any rate.

Y/n flipped the card by closing his eyes and his friends are surprised since every card he flipped are the same suits. Itsuki seemed confused and panicking inside. "By the way, Sumeragi your father worked as a CEO of toyshop company right?" Y/n said with his husky voice.

"Yes?" The latter replied.

"Well, I admitted, you impressed me that you did a massive donation and become a student council member in the first yeat but now you will become an average student or maybe you can be stills student council." He continued, "Allow me to give you some piece of advice, when you put your father's company on the line, make sure you're sufficiently prepared." Itsuki though for a moment and understood that her cheating methods have been exposed. She is now in fear and her mind kept repeating when it's her turn, when it's her turn. She looked at the table and y/n still continued flipping the cards. At the end of the game, Y/n got 54 cards that mean he won but his condition started to get worst. He e/c shined brightly and started laughing hysterically. "Sumeragi, I have to say thank you, because of you, I will enjoy the thrill of gambling!! COME ON!! Let's play another game, how about Black Jack, Poker or maybe another game of double memory." He said with excitement, he didn't have any control of himself.

*Yumeko pov*

"What's wrong Itsuki just simply nodded and play." I blurt out suddenly, there's something different about Y/n it just likes we have something in common I knew it, I knew he hides his excitement all along. His eyes are so attractive that is why lot of girls wanted to talk to him but they hesitate I don't know why, but I don't care this is an opportunity to me to keep it touch to him. "COME ON, COME ON JUST NOD!!" as soon as she fell down, she started to cry and beg to stop. She apologised Y/n and that it deceived me a lot,"Such a buzzkill." I said without hesitation.

"Yumeko it's fine." Y/n responded gently, I am not going to lie he is very kind and humble, I didn't know what happen to me, my heart started to fluster when he approached me.

*Itsuki pov*

Y/n is very scary, I saw a strange aura around him and make me feel weak as the flame with strange form of skull is appeared in front of me. He went away without any word to say.

*No one pov *

Y/n rushed to the bathroom to wash his face. "Damn, what's wrong with me, I suppose to control myself!" He mumbled angrily while he looking at the mirror and met his inner hollow. His name is Kenshiro, he has the same figures as Y/n except the colour of his skin and hair is white.

"Yo king, what's the matter with you? At least you are enjoying yourself right?" He said to Y/n.

"I know I gambled just for fun, but this is the survival of the fittest, if l lose, I will become a housepet." The latter explained.

"*laugh maniacally * So what? if your a dog be the wolf and trust me people will respect you, Mark my words." Kenshiro advised him.

Y/n nodded but before he went out, his inner hollow asked a question, "How do you know Itsuki's father worked as CEO company toyshop by the way?"

"My mother was aligned with them." The latter replied and the hollow is vanished.

He walked to the corridor to reach his class but he felt that someone is spying on him, it's not a spirit since the silhouette is very well described with appearance. Two blue eyes are glowing piercing Y/n's souls to snap his heart rapidly. He gulped as the someone gazed at him coldly, he ran away quickly to find an empty class. He panted heavily due to his panick then sighed in relief.

"I didn't know, you run that fast, I wonder with whom you are talking to?"

Y/n turned around and he jumped that the president is behind him. "H-h-how did you get there?" Y/n asked her with surprise. Kirari approached him, touched his shoulder then his hand.

"I wonder why are you hiding your excitement? Is it Because the way you act, the way you gamble?" She said seductively with him and went to his ear to whisper, "You are so arousing Y/n."
