Chapter 37

Finally kartik came home

Naira and Aakash were with him

Swarna threw her arms around kartik's body , so carefully as not to hurt him

"I'm fine mom ,Please  stop crying " Kartik said and kissed his mother cheeks

"You sach mein fine na beta ?" Swarna asked checking him head to toe again

"Yes maa , he is absolutely fine and kuch hi dino mein fit bhi ho jayega" naira said placing her both hands on Swarna's shoulders from behind

Swarna placed her hand on naira's cheek

"Ao beta andar ao ,sit here " Manish said , hugging his son

"Ya dad , come Aakash " Kartik said and turned back to see Aakash

"Ya ya I'm here , tu apne ap ko sambhal " Aakash said entering inside

Kartik rolled his eyes then placed his walking stick , leaning on to the sofa

"Bhai kaha hai dad ?" Kartik asked, he was sensing something from the beginning that something is cooking on karan's mind,  even he doesn't came once to meet him after his surgery

"Pta nhi itna kya kam kar raha hai vo office mein ki aa hi  nhi pa raha hai " Manish said

"It's okay dad , I know yeh deal thoda tough hai " Kartik said with a smile and placed his palm over Manish

Soon Aakash and kartik exchanged looks and Aakash nodded as approval of his signs

"Tum sab baitho main tum sab ke liye coffee leke ati hu" keerti asked wiping the corner of her eyes

"Di wait main bhi ati hu " naira said and went behind keerti to the kitchen

"Everything is fine right di ?" Naira asked while pouting the milk

"Ha aur nhi to kya " keerti said with a nervous smile

"Hmm" naira nodded her head

"It's Nikhil,  kartik " Aakash said sipping his Coffee

They're sitting on kartik naira's room while naira was in downstairs

"I expected" Kartik said flipping the pages of the file

"Yeh to bahar ka mamla hai kartik , but what's about Karan bhai ?" Aakash asked

Kartik raised his face and looked at Aakash

"Iska andaza mujhe pehle se hi tha Aakash " he said and looked back at the files

"Kabse ?"

"Since one month , jabse humare new branch ka opening hua hai " Kartik replied

"Hmm to kych karna hai iska Ya nhi , kya socha hai tu ne ?"

"Nothing , leave it now,  and focus  on Sharma's matter " Kartik said

"Kon sharma ?" They heard the very known voice of Naira and looked at the doorstep

Narrowing her brows she entered inside

"Kya hua batao kon sharma ?" she asked coming infront of them

Kartik and Aakash looked at each other
Kartik indicate something him and he got up to leave
