Sakusa hasn't dated in a couple years. Deeming him slightly rusty. Yet he's sickly in love.
He never started conversation yet here he was talking on the phone to a lovely being on the other side of the screen. Their smile was the most heartwarming thing to him. They could be talking about anything at all and he'd be all ears quietly listening. Humming every couple of seconds to show that his attention is still very much on them.
He didn't get butterflies but he got all cheeky and interested by the sheer thought of them. Listening to every "positive" and "negative" thing. To him they were either, listening to them made him feel understood and seen. Like home.
"You know, I'm really glad we got to call tonight."
