Chapter 1: An afterwalk

After a long but very enjoyable lunch with the beautiful Yae Miko, Aether thought a lot about what it was like to be practically a demigod? Yae was a truly adult girl who managed to see a lot of events that Aether does not even know about, she saw entire eras of Inazuma, but she was still able to be surprised and enjoy something in this world, even if it was a trifle. Even being such a powerful kitsune, which, in theory, should not care about ordinary people, she still found in them something that could well entertain her. Being the Guji of the great temple of Narukami, she was very amused, but also inspired by the power of human faith in something even as small as the hope of a successful prediction for the next day. Every human soul wanted to achieve some goal, and the brighter the fire burned in the heart of a person, the more interesting it became to watch him. That's exactly what Aether turned out to be. His desire to find his sister at all costs burned so brightly and exuded an aura that Yae Miko had never seen in her life, because even the power of Ei's eternity  was nothing compared to him. This boy turned out to be a real treasure - powerful and strong-willed, but soft and shy, which madly touched her. Therefore, she herself did not notice how her desire to watch him grew into something more, she wanted to get close to him, to know him not only as a famous traveler, who is legendary throughout Teyvat, but also as Aether, the man who helped save her dear friend from herself, saved all of Inazuma from an eternity that was not at all necessary in order to live happily and, in the end, saved her from the realization that no one else could get closer to her as it was before. Right now he was sitting in front of her and trying to bring her out of her thoughts.

-"Yae-san, did something happen?"

-"Oh, no, it's all right, just looking at that pretty face."

Aether instantly blushed, it seemed that he was already used to her teasing phrases, but each time her seductive tone made him blush again and again.

-"It's already evening, so we could take a walk, if you don't mind, of course."

-"Ugh, how can I turn down an offer like that, especially after you paid for all our food."

Miko got up from the table and walked towards the exit.

-"Wait, what?"

-"Heehee."

Aether mentally cried, because today there would be very little mora in his wallet, but in his heart he was even glad that he could please her.

After paying for dinner, they finally left the restaurant. The evening today turned out to be very calm and beautiful, just perfect for a couple's evening walk.

-"So, guys, I'll probably go to Thoma, he promised to play hotpot today," Paimon said.

-"But you just ate."

-"Let her go, Aether, why limit the girl in her desires."

-"But..."

-"Hurray, do not be bored!"

And Paimon evaporated at the speed of light.

-"Looks like we're the only ones left, Yae."

-"Uh-huh, so let's not waste any time. I'm still waiting for my walk."

-"Right, so where would you like to go?"

-"Heehee, I'm actually waiting for you to choose a place. Surprise me."

And then Aether froze, what place could she like? What in all of Inazuma could be unknown to the great Guji of Narukami Shrine? Offer to go to the publishing house or visit the temple - she was there every day, so it makes no sense. For some reason, Aether remembered the Ginju forest, as it was especially beautiful there at night, away from all the bustle of the city, a place where two people could have a good time without worrying about anyone disturbing them at all. Alone.
