Chapter 3: Someone special

Aether and Paimon decided to have a good breakfast, after all, yesterday's walk turned out to be quite eventful.

-"Traveler, what will you cook for me today?"

-"And what do you want?"

-"I want a crab in oil!"

-"But the ingredients are very expensive, I'll go broke because of you!"

-"Oh, pretty please!"

-"No, we will eat scrambled eggs today."

Paimon was very annoyed. However, a plan was born in her head. She started screaming all over the street.

-"Huuu, so for High Priestess Yae Miko from the Narukami Shrine, you didn't spare a Mora in the best restaurant during your lunch DATE, but for your faithful friend, it's a pity for money!"

Paimon's voice was heard clearly and distinctly by all passers-by, causing them to whisper to each other.

-"He was on a date with Guuji-sama!"

-"They had dinner together in a restaurant?!"

-"He spent all the money on her?"

-"What is their relationship?"

Aether became insanely uncomfortable with all this whispering.

-"Okay, okay, I'll cook you a crab, let's go faster!"

-"Heehee, I know all the ways to get food."

The battle ended in victory for Paimon.

Having bought all the necessary ingredients and caught a crab, Aether started cooking.

-"Paimon will eat greatly today!"

-"Hmm, you always don't have enough to eat, extortionist..."

-"Aether, for the sake of food, I'm ready to do anything, even move mountains, that's my motto!"

-"Your motto is to parasitize on me..."

-"Hey, actually I'm your faithful companion and always look after you. However, you've been acting strange lately."

Aether's ears turned red in a moment at these memories, but the question arose - why is he reacting like that? Yae had made a lot of flirtatious jokes before, but he didn't react to them as much as he does now, what's the matter with him? Why does this confuse him, but at the same time he is insanely pleased with her attention, why is his heart beating so fast next to her, why did he want more then one kiss on the forehead?

-"Traveler, are you here?"

-"Ah, yes!"

-"So what's going on with you?"

-"I really don't know myself, maybe I got sick, when we return to Liyue I'll go to Dr. Baizhu."

-"Hmm, if that's the case then fine."
