Day 1: Uncomfortable

Juhi is a bit disappointed about her seat being last in the row.

she places her bag lightly on the chair and nervously waits for her seatmate to arrive.
There are no back benchers or front benchers in science stream, those who want to study can do it from anywhere.

Mr. Singh's word resurface in her mind.

Jeon Jungkook is walking towards her. She notices but takes her eyes off him in an instant.

"Hi! Juhi right??" The guy places his bag next to hers.

Oh.

"Hi"
She doesn't know how to feel about it because she doesn't know him enough or anyone else for that matter. All she did was study.

Jungkook knows Juhi like everyone else does, incredibly smart, perfect scores, loves books, worries too much, distant but no one told him that she was pretty.

He takes a good look at her.

Even behind her glasses her plain braids , her features were beautiful, he felt.

After a few minutes he sees her get up and say something to the class teacher who was in for a moment to take attendance.

To his surprise, class teacher calls him and scolds him on his misbehaviour with Juhi.

Jungkook is confused. He rewinds back everything, trying to figure out which action of his was responsible for it.

But he feels awful.
He's up for all sorts of pranks, but making a girl feel uncomfortable, NEVER.

He writes a note.
An apology.

Really sorry for making you feel uncomfortable. It wasn't intentional and I promise it'll never happen again. Forgiveness?

He leaves it with Juhi and walks to the back of the class where other boys had collected.

Juhi reads the note.

She can feel the sincerity.

That eases her.

But I can't with the staring, it's gonna get so hard if he does that again or maybe I misunderstood but he did look at me for a long time,idk idk ughhhhhh but atleast he apologized and didn't give stupid reasons or excusess uhhhhhh.
Her mind processed everything at a higher speed than others, always running unlike her calm and quiet exterior.

She writes forgiven on the note and goes back to her book.

Jungkook finds the note and is relieved but doesn't come back to the seat.

During lunch he sees her eyes searching for someone, he walks to her and notices them stop on him.

I should go back now.

Then he comes back to the seat, to which she says nothing but she's relieved too.
