"ALLEIGH!" I screamed.
"Hey, girly."
Alleigh has been one of my best friends for who knows how long. Actually, Becca, Trinity, Liam, our friends Sam and Luke, Alleigh, and I started this group called the sexy seven in sixth grade. We're still together and hang out all the time.
"Where's your lover?" Trinity asked adding a smirk at the word lover.
"We aren't even dating..," she replied.
"Oh come on! You and Sam have this on and off thing that no one can really explain. You guys are so cute together!" I said.
She blushed and mumbled something under her breath.
"Where is he?" Liam asked.
"He should be coming soon. We were supposed to come and surprise you guys. We saw that your friend...Taylor?" She said looking at us in a questioning way. I nodded in response and she continued.
"Taylor tweeted about your location so we thought we'd stop by. He's parking the car right now," she said blushing at the fact she was talking about Sam.
"OH. We brought Luke!" She finished while looking at Trinity. Trinity blushed and looked down.
I chuckled, but stopped when I felt a pair of hands blinding.
"Guess who?" I heard the familiar voice.
"Santa?" I replied with a laugh.
"No, but he's fat like one," said another familiar voice. One of the hands left my face, but not only seconds after it left my face did I hear skin being b*tch slapped. I turned around to see Luke.
"Luke!" I said while hugging him.
"Oh I see how it is," Sam said acting hurt. I walked into his arms, and he gave me a tight squeeze.
"We're all together now," said Alleigh.
"Yea--Becca!" I said reminding Trinity and Liam why we were here in the first place. A look of confusion spread across Luke, Alleigh, and Sam's face.
"Come on we hav----" I was yet again cut off. This time it wasn't a thought, or person interrupting me. It was the sight of Becca trying to get out of a man's grip. When she did, she made a run for Taco Bell. I made a break for the door, but stopped dead in my tracks.
BANG!
I couldn't hear anything other then a ringing noise. . I could only see, but I wish I couldn't. What I saw broke me. What I saw was my best friend laying on the ground. Motionless.
So much was happening. I just screamed and sprinted out the door.
"Becca! WAKE UP. GET UP. BECCA WAKE UP!!" I said while kneeling down next to her and shaking her.
She was bleeding. I hugged her until I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. The ambulance loaded her body onto the stretcher and into the car. I tried squirming out of whoever had their arms around me.
"Calm down. She's going to be okay. She's going to be fine," said the voice of Liam while hugging me and stroking my hair. I cried in his chest.
"It should've been me. It should've been me," I mumbled into his chest.
Then everything went black. All I remember is holding my best friend in my arms.
