Dark Cacao Cookie x Fem!Reader (angst)

(Hell yeah no one can stop me. Idk how old he fucking is so uh 56 for Dark Cacao and 24 for our depressed emo son)

Dark Cacao Cookie POV:

"YOU WILL FALL!! YOU SHALL NOT TAKE THIS CITADEL DOWN!!" I swung my sword towards Dark Choco Cookie. "Give up while you can! Your death will be less painful that way...!" He swung back almost hitting me. "I will not give up no matter the costs! Even if it means killing you..." I swung back harshly knocking him down. He quickly recovered and swiftly dodged my blade. "Give up, there's no use in fighting. This Citadel will no longer last and you know it better than anyone." He spoke from a distance.

"If you think, I shall just surrender to you and let this Citadel crumble than you are deadly mistaken boy. You underestimate the power of the Soul Jam." I spat back. "IGNORANT FOOL!"

Y/CN POV:

I was in me and Dark Cacao's bedroom. Wait how am I here? I'm.... I'm... Dead.... ["Y/CN you must hurry, a broken bond must be fixed before it's too late."] A voice spoke. "Who are you?" I asked. ["My identity is not of importance, right now you must hurry before it is too late. Go as fast as you can and may the gods bless you with swiftness and agility."] And with that the voice disappeared. What did I have to fix? Whatever it is it must be something important. I looked through the closet and found my clothes... He still kept them... I quickly put them on and sped out of the room.

Along the way I passed some guards maids and butlers who were in utter shock. "My queen!" One of the guards shouted. I had no time right now so I ignored him. Right now I didn't even know where I was going, my legs just took me to where they I needed to be. I went up a flight of stairs leading me to the highest parts of the Citadel (idk where dark choco and cacao fight ok? I'm literally only in the desert episode). Upon taking the last flight of stairs I heard some loud clings and clangs... Those sound like... Swords!

I kept running and running until I reached a certain door. "DIE YOU INSOLENT IMBECILE!" "GO ON AND TRY YOU PATHETIC WHELP!" No... My son... My husband... Fighting...? I slowly opened the door and was horrified by the sight. Jumping, dodging, swinging with swords... What happened to these two...? I walked down the stairs, they hadn't noticed me yet... "GAH!!!" I watched as Dark Cacao slashed Dark Choco Cookie. Though he recovered very quickly. Dark Cacao was raising his sword and so was Dark Choco.

"BOTH OF YOU ENOUGH!!" I yelled. They both froze. They both turned to face me, both lowering their swords. "Mother? This... Is not possible." "Y/CN? How are you... No... You are dead." They both spoke in disbelief. "Well here I am, alive for the time being... Why...?" I asked.... "I-" Dark Cacao cookie started but my glare shut him up immediately. "Is this what you had in store for the kingdom?" I asked both of them.

They looked at me with guilty expressions. "I... If I can't fix this... Than no one will..." I said turning around. "Make your choice, but I will not stand here and watch one of die..." I spoke walking away. "Mother wait!" "Y/CN!" They both called out to me but I kept walking. I shall not turn back to a family like this... They made mistakes and they must fix them... I was long gone before their conflict even happened. "Mother please don't go!" Dark Choco Cookie yelled out to me. "Y/CN! Come back!" I did not turn back. I didn't listen. I heard the sound of two swords fall and heavy metal footsteps coming rapidly towards me.

I was suddenly yanked back by two arms pulled into a very tight embrace... Before I could even move I heard some sniffles. "W-were you alive this whole time?" My son asked... I said nothing. "Y/CN... How long... How long have you been alive? Were you even dead?" My husband now asked... I still said nothing. "Please say something... Please?" Both spoke now. I slowly but surely managed to break free from their death hug. I turned around and gave them a stern look. They both looked away in shame.

"I... I don't know what happened between you two or how long it has been this way but I do know this, If you don't make up, sooner or later it will be both of your demises." I finally spoke. "How long are you staying? Are you just a ghost?" Dark Choco cookie asked. "I do not know, but if I do stay for a few days... both of you will probably wish I stayed dead." I replied. "Don't say that..." Dark Cacao Cookie spoke. "Please, you and I both know you two won't get away THAT easily." I said giving them a very harsh glare.

"*Sigh* For now let's just go more... Comfortable." I said turning towards the stairs and they both followed. What will the next day have in store?
