Wilbur felt a lot of things, and boredom was one of them.
Phil had taken Tommy out to get new shoes. Wilbur knew very well they were just going to do hero stuff, but for obvious reasons he did not comment on it. They said they'd be back before dinner. So in the meantime, Wilbur and Techno were supposed to entertain themselves, something that they weren't that good at.
They'd already watched one and a half movies. Techno refused to continue watching halfway through, not enjoying three hours and forty-five minutes of musicals. Wilbur had insisted on watching Hamilton first and then Newsies. While Techno complained about losing his sanity if they would continue.
So, right now they were playing cards. Wilbur would've liked to say that he was winning, however, Techno definitely had the upperhand in this game. Was this because Wilbur wasn't sure what game they were even playing? Perhaps.
''Go fish'' Wilbur said confidently, watching as Techno slowly looked up to meet his eyes, glaring at him
Judging by Techno's response, Wilbur would assume that they weren't playing go fish. And he was probably about to be made fun of for it.
''We're playing Crazy Eights, do you even know how the game works?!'' Techno scoffed, throwing his cards on the table in defeat.
No, Wilbur did not know how that game is played, but Wilbur wasn't a man of giving up, now was he? He is such a fighter, oh yes the most fighterest fighter you have ever seen.
Wilbur threw his hands up, laughing awkwardly. ''Well no. but in my defence-''
''In your defence what, Wilbur?'' Techno asked, cutting his brother off.
''Nothing in my defence,'' Wilbur replied, sinking back in his chair. Techno had a grin from ear to ear at this point.
What an ass.
''That's what I thought,'' Techno said. Wilbur gave an annoyed look in response. Techno's grin only grew wider. ''Let's just do something else then'' Techno continued.
If Wilbur was going to be honest, he was indeed getting tired of these not-go-fish card games. He'd like to argue that that is the only game he knows how to play, and therefore play's every card game like it is go fish, but he wasn't even quite sure what the goal was of that game. It probably didn't even include fish, and Wilbur was a big salmon fan.
''What do you want to do?'' Wilbur asked before crossing his arms.
