Saying Goodbye

On February 17, 2014, my ex and I got into an argument and her and I got into a fight in the bathroom. Someone went and told the principal and by the next day, her and I were sent down the hill to Shelby Valley Day Treatment Center. Or SVDT, or just DT, as I usually call it. I had to say goodbye to my secret love, Kailee.

The SVDT is a (as it states in black-n-white in the "Student Handbook") "treatment program for boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 17 and a half who have been kicked out of school or any other residence where the program is needed."

Nine long-ass months went by without a single sight of this girl. Finally I got out of DT on probation in late October, only 2-3 weeks after my birthday on October 16th.
That's when I got my phone. In early December Kailee and I had finally been talking for about 2 months about being together. She'd say over and over that she's straight. She doesn't like girls. Blah blah blah. I could see through all of that. She was just afraid, afraid of telling me who she really is. Afraid I would tell the world. But finally, on December 7th, 2014, she agreed to finally be mine. I was so happy! I finally got all I could ever want. I've wanted this girl for about 2 years and she wanted me too. Her and I both know that. And now she was mine.
