Fantasy Forest { A world split in half }

"Hello class, how are you doing today?" A tour guide spoke sweetly.

All the kids cheered and smiled at the tour guide. She laughed along the teacher.

"That's good to hear! Does anyone know where we are today?"

All of the kids raised their hands. The tour guide was having trouble deciding who she would pick, until she saw a boy with grey,greenish hair in the back. She smiled and pointed at him.

"You, gentlemen in the back. May you tell me your name?" The boy looked up, confused.

"Who me?"

"Yes you! What's your name?"

"Jake..."

"Jake! What a pretty name! Do you know where we are?" Jake sighed, irritated by the question.

"We're at the world barrier"

"Correct! And can you tell me what the world barrier does?" He sighed once again.

"It splits this part from the world from the Fantasy forest"

"Right again! Today we are gonna have a tour around the gate and show you how it works! Are you ready?!"
The tour guide shouted, everybody cheered.

"I didn't hear you Jake! Are you ready?!"

"...whatever" He growled out.

The tour guide began walking and everybody followed. The tour guide walked up to the teacher and whispered.

"What's wrong with that kid?"

"Remember the accident that happened in the south side of the barrier two months ago? His parents were there and got killed by Shrengi" the teacher whispered back.

"Poor kid..."

Shrengi were the most violent creatures of the fantasy forest. Everyday they would gather around the border and try to attack humanity. There would multiple times when they would make it through the barrier. But nothing that would affect that side of the world. The tour guide typed a code into the computer on the wall and the door opened. They all walked through and saw a beautiful area filled with beautiful flowers and amazingly tall trees.

"This is the Fantasy forest, thanks to our advance technology we were able to make this small area where visitors can look at the forest. Isn't this amazi-"

The tour guide was cut off by the sound of a blast. A Shrengi apeared into view and a weird girl with cat ears aswell. The woman gasped.

"Well would you look at that! You guys are lucky! We're about to see a gate guardian in action!"

The Shrengi attacked with its big horn and the girl dodged it. She then jumped to a tree and used it as a dash for her attack. Her bracelets that she wore turned into a wicked type of knife auto-mail and then she slashed the monster. As soon as she did that, the monster fell and turned Into little pieces of dust. The girl took her knife and put it away. She finally noticed the group of kids and smiled. She waved at them and they waved back, except Jake who was giving her dirty looks. The girl noticed right away and walked in front of the glass that separated them. She typed a code into the wall and a mic appeared on both sides.

"Hello there miss! Sorry if we weren't interrupting you" the tour guide said with a smile.

"Oh no it's fine! I'm actually done with this sector. I just need to wait till someone reports another Shrengi"

"Well that's great! Could you please introduce yourself?" The tour guide asked kindly.

"With pleasure! The name is Sylgith! And I'm what you would call a were-cat! I'm also fourteen years old and single!" The kids laughed.
