Why is it so hard to get over somebody who's never coming back, I mean if you accept the fact that they are never coming back and that it wasn't a choice... then it shouldn't be that hard. Thats what I used to think, before he left me, the the night I lost my best friend, my boyfriend, my hero.
I woke up sweating, I couldn't breathe, and my eyesight was getting blurry. I was absolutely terrified. I couldn't catch my breath and I eventually passed out. I woke up this time in a hospital bed hooked up to a bunch of machines. I looked to my right to see a boy who is seen many times before sitting next to the bed. his sparkling green eyes poured into my soul and once agin I couldn't breathe. The heart monitor skipped around a bit and his jaw clenched. But he soon relaxed as with the monitor and started to laugh a smile playing about his pale pink lips.
"How are you?" He asked.
"G-good" I stuttered astounded by the smoothness of his perfect voice.
He started laughing, and it was beautiful. I felt a soft stroke against the back of my hand and I looked to see what it was. I sat up and looked down at my hand that lie in the hand of the perfect boy.
"Is this real life?" I asked the angel like boy.
"Yes," he chuckled softly "yes it is."
"That's exactly what someone in a dream would say" I retorted.
"Trust me, this is real" he said speaking softly.
"Just prove it." I said.
He stood up from his slouched position and placed a gentle kiss on my forehead "feel better." he said letting go of my hand. Then he left.
