3. Jimin Imagine

|| Part 3

You spend the entire morning explaining Jimin that you love BTS. That they helped you when times were rough. When you thought things would never work out. When you had dark thoughts. When you thought you'll not see another day.

He just sat gaping at me, not expecting my sudden burst of love for them.

Jimin: I'm so glad to hear that I helped you even though I did not know you then.

You go over and sit next to him, holding his hands.

Y/N: You did more than just help me. You saved me!

He lets out a small sigh and pulls you in for a hug. You'll sit on the couch for what seemed forever.

Jimin: I love you.

You back away from the hug trying to take in what he just said. You try your best to reply. But your mind goes blank. It's not like you don't feel the same way as him. It's just that you've been through so much. You have tried to stay away from pain as much as possible. You know if things get serious between you'll, it might end bad.

Jimin: Uh- I should get going. My manger might get upset that I stayed for so long.

You instantly feel a pang of disappointment. But you cannot blame him.

Y/N: Oh okay.

He gets up from the couch and leaves, slamming the door without saying a word.

You think you should chase after him but there's no way you'll catch up with him.

You grab your phone to text him.

'I am sorry.'

Delete.

'Can you come back?'

Delete.

'I love you'

Delete.

You throw the phone on the couch thinking you just messed up the best thing you ever had. And start tearing up.

After a couple of minutes, you hear the doorbell ring. And without a thought you run over to open the door with your makeup messed up. But you don't bother touching up.

Jimin: I am sorry. I shouldn't have left.

Y/N: No, you have nothing to be sorry about. I am sorry. I just- I am scared I'll loose you. You mean so much to me, you know my deepest secrets, my insecurities. And I just don't know if I can continue living on without you.

He walk upto you and pulls you in a hug.

Jimin: I will always be there for you. Even if things get bad between us. I'll always come back to you like I did today.

Y/N: I love you.

He pulls back from the hug and is completely taken aback by your response. You could tell he was not expecting that.

Y/N: Can I say that again?

He lets out a small laugh and nods.

You just had to say it out loud again. Not for him, but for yourself. You thought that if you run away from pain, it will not haunt you. But you were wrong. Turns out that they run faster. So it's best to acknowledge your fears and face them no matter the outcome.

Y/N: I love you!

You say it again but this time even louder.

Jimin: I love you too!

Just then your stomach growls leaving you in complete embarrassment.

Y/N: That was not me.

Jimin: I did not ask.

He replies with a smirk on his face.

Y/N: Ok fine, that was me. Can we just-

He bursts out in laughter.

Y/N: Why are you laughing? It's not that funny.

Jimin: I am not laughing at your stomach growling. I was- you're just cute ok.

Y/N: Now you have to cook something for me. Yes, that's your punishment.

Jimin: Oh yes, your highness! I will not disappoint.

He gives a curtsey and then walks towards the kitchen.

He grabs a book from the table and pretends to read from it.

Jimin: On today's menu we have a special burger and for dessert, chocolate brownies. But incase that goes bad, I have you.

He says with a wink leaving you completely speechless.
