Nancy was shell-shocked. With the speed of light, she turned around and looked at Jungkook who was looking at her with an amused expression.

"W-What do you mean, Demon Kin-"

"You want to be the bride, don't you?"

Every cell of her body jarred in shock. Her jaw fell to the ground as she stared at Jungkook who only shake his head feigning disappointment.

"Heartbroken? So sad. Your dream prince is going to marry a mere guard, a lowlife. You must be thinking of ways how to get her place but couldn't gather the courage to voice your opinions because of your sister, right?"

Jungkook spoke and walked closer to her. Nancy clenched her fists as she was astonished at how right he was. He was exactly speaking her mind. But she didn't want to show him her weakness.

Squaring her shoulders, she looked at him with a raised chin before speaking firmly, "You may be right Demon King but I don't have any plans to marry Jiminnie."

Jungkook cocked his left brow and scoffed, "Jiminnie? How cute. Already chosen a nickname for hubby?"

He grinned making her clench her jaw, "Stay within your limits, Jungkook. You may be the King of Hell but I am not bound to follow your order." She seethed.

"Oh, just shut up. You can fool anyone but not me. You weren't planning on dolling Dahyun instead you were thinking of drugging her because you wanted to take Y/n's place."

Jungkook spoke sternly rendering her speechless.

"I must praise you for being a silver-tongued liar. How well you fooled everyone but little girl, you can't fool the one who is adept at reading minds. You were waiting for an opportunity to replace the bride because you know that the wedding is bound to happen today. Unfortunately, Tae ruined your plans and that's when you cudgeled your brain and came up with a mind-blowing plan. You thought that if people can choose Dahyun for Jimin, then what's wrong with you? After all, you're beautiful, smart, and would prove a better life partner for the future king of Heaven. Even if he rejects you first, he has to accept you in the future because of that damn sacred bond Rose was talking about", he said while walking in circles around her. Nancy gulped as her face blanched in horror.

'He caught her.'

Jungkook then stood in front of her and grunted while staring at her face which had turned white as a sheet, "Now say that I am lying."

Nancy remained quiet making him laugh.

"You can't little girl because the powder which you were using to drug Dahyun, actually it was for me."

He stipulated and grabbed his sword. Nancy gasped when he raised her chin with his bloodied sword and made her look at him. Her eyes widened when she stared into her red-rimmed eyes.

"Because you saved my princess that's why I am allowing you to decide your punishment. And if you didn't, I will break your skull in half for daring to play with me," he gritted, his irises turned blood-red.

Nancy immediately fell to the ground and joined her hands, "P-Please forgive me King but I-I love him a lot. I know I did wrong but Y/n doesn't want to marry Jimin and I won't get a chance to win his heart once this day ends. I will lose h-him f-forever. Rose would never allow this and I can't let Dahyun snatch my dreams. P-Please Demon King, you're my only hope. Please let me do this. I promise I would do whatever you'll say. But please don't tell Rose about it otherwise she would drag me away with her. Have mercy, Your Majesty. Please, let me have my Jiminnie."

Jungkook was taken aback as he stared at the sobbing girl. Nancy kept begging him to let her have Jimin just like a child crying for his favorite toy. He didn't know that she was crazily obsessed with him.

He lowered his sword and looked at her with cold eyes, "I have heard that love is blind but today I got to know that it's dumb too. Lovesick puppy, come to your fucking senses. You are trying to ruin your life for a man who isn't even aware of your existence. You do know that Jimin agreed to marry Y/n because she is a princess and you, you are an ordinary girl. Do you think he'll ever accept you? You all are a bunch of buffoons but I am damn sure Jimin won't follow this sacred bond nonsense and would kick you out of his life. Your sister is right, it's just an infatuation."

He tried to make her understand but his words fall deaf on her ears. She had closed all the gates of her sanity today and her stubborn heart only wanted to have Jimin at any cost.

"Infatuation or love? It's none of anyone's business. It's my life, my choice. Whatever happens to me, I would be responsible for it. Listen clearly, I would marry Jiminnie whether someone likes it or not. I won't let that Dahyun snatch my happiness. I request you not to tell my sister and help me but if you still tried to stop me, I would have to fight with you."

She gnashed her teeth in rage. Jungkook stared into her hazel eyes that were flickering with a crazy obsession. But he liked her spirit and bravery. No one dared to look in his eyes and this girl challenged him.

Jungkook nodded and moved back. Nancy was shocked when he made her stand on her feet and patted her head, "Alright, I won't stop you."

Her lips curved in a wide smile as she jumped in excitement, "THANKS A LOT DEMON KING!! But please don't tell my sister about this."

"On one condition."

Her brows creased together as she stared at him confused, "C-Condition?"

Putting the sword back in the scabbard, Jungkook snickered, "Didn't you promise me that you would do anything a few minutes before? I won't tell Rose that I helped you marry Jimin and would protect you till you get your Prince Charming but for that, you've to do something for me."

Nancy exulted as her ears only focused on the part where he promised her that he wouldn't let anyone become a hindrance in her wedding.

Jungkook frowned when he felt her soft hands enveloping his right hand. Nancy kissed them and looked at him as if he was her savior.

"I will do anything Demon King. Just command," she spoke softly and bowed to him.

Jungkook smirked in contentment as he knew this girl was head over heels for Jimin. If he would have asked her to walk in fire, she would have happily scalded her body for that man.

He gently removed her hands before speaking in his deep voice, "After taking Y/n with me, I might not be able to visit Heaven in the future that's why I am leaving my eyes and ears here."

Nancy was confounded by his words. She craned her neck up and looked at him, "Eyes? Is there a spy of yours in heaven?", she asked him innocently.

Jungkook nodded, "Not before but now I have one." He shrugged making her frown.

"Who is it, Demon King?"

Nancy asked, her mind still couldn't decipher the hidden meaning behind his mind.

Jungkook snorted. Her sharp mind was still developing. He understood that she only uses her agility when things are of interest otherwise, she turns blank.

His lips slowly twisted in a nefarious smile. Caressing her hair, Jungkook then looked at her and spoke in a husky voice,

"You, my little witch."
