Mystery child

Chapter one

Alyson P.O.V

 It so nice here. Nothing in the world could break the beauty of this place. The river flowed and the birds chirped but the sky looked dark and scary like it was going to rain.

I just sat there with my brown hair blowing in the wind.

I just kept staring at the river until I see something floating. I stand up to get a closer look then it came clear to me.

I took off my clothes till I was in shorts and my bra then I dived in.

The cold instantly pierced my skin and ran down my whole body. When I floated up I took a big gasped and let a shiver go through me.

I then dive and got to the middle were the current is stronger and then I swam to the body.

I grabbed the slightly built figure and dragged it above the water so whoever it was it could get some air and tired my best to swim to the shore.

When I got out I dragged it so the body didn’t hit the water. 

I lay down beside it and waited till I got my breathe to calm down then got up and looked at the figure.

It was a woman of course and she was slightly breathing. I said, “Are you okay?”

Her eyes fluttered open and she turned her head to look at me and breathed, “I’m going to die.”

I panicked and said, “No you’re not I will try everything to save you I promise.”

I turned around but she grabbed my arm and said, “No I want to die but thanks for trying I have a dying wish to ask you to carry out for me would you do it?”

I thought for a minute. Why would you ask me? What if I was a criminal or something? I sighed, “Yes I will do it what is it that you want?”

She coughed and hacked for a minute and them wheezed, “Please take care of my son don’t let anyone take him from you make sure he doesn’t fall into the darkness and deceit.”

I was quite skeptical until her shaky hands pulled out a baby then my eyes grew wide. I squealed, “Wait but I can’t take care of a…”

The women died right there. Tear came down my face as I looked at the baby boys face he looked very peaceful.

I checked for a pulse and sure enough it was very strong. Then the rain started to pour and I heard wolves howl and it was really close coming for me.

I got up, grabbed my wet clothes and ran. I didn’t stop until I got to my back porch.

I looked at my big wooden house and ran inside and slammed the door. How could my life be more disastrous?

Unknown P.O.V

I know she is close by I can smell her. My wolf said, “Let’s find her and take her back already I’m itching to get back to my mate.”

I rolled my eyes and thought, “Just wait we will get her and the child and bring them back.”

 I had already spent three weeks looking for her but she keeps finding a way to slip out of our grasps.

I also need to get the child back he is the next ruler and its very important to train him into a killer.

She was very close by when the rain started to fall and that was hell for us but I stayed in that direction and sure enough we found her but she was dead.

I sniffed her and looked around for the baby but there was no sign of him at all.

I couldn’t smell her or any other sent. I howled in frustration and mind linked the rest of my fleet and said,“Go for shelter and we will look for the child tomorrow.”

We all decided to leave her there no one would care if she was alive anymore so it doesn’t matter.

All that matters is to find the prince and take him home.  

I always get what I want.

Alyson P.O.V

I stared at the baby in my arms for a minute and started to think, I can't believe I have to take of this angel.

I can't take care of a child I can barely take care of myself while my mother is gone all the time.

How will I pay for another person in this house?

My head was swimming with all this concern until a little cry broke me out of my thought.

I looked at him while he was crying. I panicked a little bit and pulled him close to my chest a rocked him. I started to sing.

“You are my sunshine

My only sunshine

You make me happy

When skies are grey

You’ll never know dear

How much I love you

Please don’t take my sunshine away.”

I kept repeating the song until he got quiet and went to sleep. I set him down on the sofa and went into the attic; I am so lucky that my parents didn’t get rid of my brother’s baby clothes. I grabbed them and some extra dippers.

I ran down stairs and changed him and his smelly dipper. I started a fire in the fire place and put and extra blanket on him.

I left and went to my room to change and blow dry my hair then once I came down I went into the open kitchen I can see him from the kitchen so that’s good.

I cleaned the dishes and washed the floor. I checked on him he was still asleep. I grabbed him and grabbed the old car seat me and my brother use to use it.

I went outside which had finally cleared and went to my crappy pick-up truck that I worked all last summer for.

I put him in and strapped him in. I drove away from my house and drove into our city where I went into the grocery store.

People stared at me as I walked in with the baby in the carrier. I walked around and some of the other mothers and older women started to whisper to each other as I walked by.

I ignored them and bought some baby formula and some other essentials for me and him I went to the counter.

The girl there looked about 20 when she looked at me she saw the baby and said “Aww he is so cute what is his name?” She looked at me and I had a blank expression.

Damn! I forgot to ask for a name.

I racked my brain for a name I thought would best suit him. I said the first name that came to mind, “Ethan.”

She smirked, “That is such a cute name I wish me and my husband could have as cute of a baby as you do.”

I said, “Well I hope you get what you want and thanks for the complement.”

She smiled and checked out my stuff. I walked out of the store and I bumped into something or someone.

I looked up to see Jessica the school’s “slut” looking down at me. Oh no here comes the bull!
