A few days later..

"Yeon-ah? Aren't you supposed to be resting? What are you doing?" Seul Ji crossed her arms, looking at that petite figure, who is now busy lifting and moving some stuff in her living room. Hye Yeon just flash her cute smile to Seul Ji, made her feel a bit annoyed.

"Well, I guess I had enough rest and my house kinda messy.. So, yeah. I just move some of my things. You know? To have some fresh look." Seul Ji could only sigh in disbelieve. 'This woman, I can't believe she was discharged just a few days ago!'

Seul Ji took Hye Yeon's hand and pull her straight to the bedroom. Hye Yeon couldn't react and just follow Seul Ji.

"Now, hear me out, Miss Ahn Hye Yeon. You must rest for at least another week, or your wound could be open again. You can have all the fresh look you want AFTER you're completely healed, okayy?? You sure didn't want to get that stitches again right? Aahh, but if you reaaallyy wants it, then go ahead. Lift alllll the things in this house, why don't you? Then, I'll gladly takes you to the hospital~" Hye Yeon just shakes her head vigorously. She can feel Seul Ji's sharp look towards her, even though Seul Ji's face looks calm.

'Lecturer-mode Seul Ji sure is scaryyy!'

Seul Ji let out a sigh and just staring at Hye Yeon. She fully aware that Hye Yeon would only listen to her rant for a short moment and will do the same thing again afterward. But this time, Seul Ji want to be sure about something that has been bothering her lately. Only Hye Yeon knows about it and she will confront her today.

"And.. I have something to ask you, Yeon-ah."

"What is it?" Hye Yeon look onto Seul Ji's serious face.

"Why did you pretending to lose your memory about Jinnie?"

Badump!

That question made Hye Yeon flinch a bit. She didn't expect Seul Ji would ask her that.

"W-what do you mean p-pretend? I really don't know what you talk about." Her lips tremble a little.

Seul Ji looks at Hye Yeon, "Yeon-ah, we've been friends since our school days, and you think you can fool me? Hmm? Look, I just can't imagine you'd be doing this to us. Why??"

Hye Yeon just hung her head down, playing with her fingers.

"Is it because of Jinnie?" That words stab her heart. Seul Ji looks at Hye Yeon, 'hit the nails on the head, huh?', she thought. Hye Yeon's hands trembling and she let out a heavy sigh.

"I'm not a good liar, am I?"

"Naah, as if I would believed a lie from such a honest and pure person like you? Besides, I find it really hard to believe in. You, of all people, would forget about Jinnie?? How would you forget your most beloved man in this whole world that easy??" Hye Yeon's eyes widen. 'Do they all know it all along?'

"Don't worry, it's only me who know this. They all do believed that you have amnesia. My goodness, Yeon-ah.. Why??"

"I.. I'm sorry, but I.."

"Nope. Don't apologise to me. You got the wrong person here." Seul Ji's face softened, because she understands why Hye Yeon resort to doing such thing. It must takes all of her courage to lie to them.

"Then, what I supposed to do, Seul Ji-ah?? You know how much and how long I've loved him right? It really broke my heart when he said he's dating Min Joo. I-I don't know what else I should've done to make him mine. I wanted him so badly that I lied to you guys."

Tears started to form on Hye Yeon's eyes. Seul Ji surprised watching Hye Yeon being broken again. She felt guilty at the moment, because she just realised that Hye Yeon was not okay at all. Hye Yeon just bottled up her feelings so Seok Jin, Min Joo and those around her wouldn't worried about her. And when she no longer able to contain all the mixed feelings, she finally decided to lie to all of them. That's how fragile Hye Yeon's heart right now.

Seul Ji hugs Hye Yeon's small figure and just let her cry her heart out. She promises herself that she will keep Hye Yeon's secret and will always be there for Hye Yeon.
