(Readers POV)

I'm taking a light jog through a forest. I heard birds chirping. It was very peaceful and I really enjoyed it. After some jogging, I saw something shining in a bush. I walked over to it and reached inside the bush. I grabbed a green gem.

(Y/N): Who would've thought I'd find a gem all the way out here?

I started my jog again. I heard a sound of a motor. I looked behind me and saw a giant robot ladybug that's on a huge wheel. It came right at me. I started to run away, but the robot kept chasing me.

(Y/N): Go away!

It looked mad at me as it got really close to me, about to attack my leg. I saw a blue blur rush past me and it destroyed the robot. I stopped running and looked at what destroyed the robot chasing me. It's a blue haired girl wearing blue clothes, red shoes, and a pair of white gloves. She looked over at me with her piercing green eyes.

Sonia: Are you ok? Are you hurt?

(Y/N): No, I'm fine. Just got scared by that thing is all.

I looked back at the destroyed robot and a small rabbit came out of the wreckage. It rubbed its head on the girl's leg before hopping away. I looked at the girl a little closer and I recognized her.

(Y/N): Hey, you're Sonia! Right?!

She chuckled and pointed her thumb at herself.

Sonia: You betcha! The fastest thing alive! I'm surprised you didn't recognize me sooner!

Sonia looked at the gem in my hand and pointed at it.

Sonia: Yo, you found a Chaos Emerald! No wonder that robot was chasing you.

(Y/N): A Chaos Emerald?

Sonia walked up to me and grabbed the green gem out of my hand.

Sonia: That's right. Here, watch this!

Sonia put the Chaos Emerald into the air and it started to glow.

Sonia: Chaos Control!

A bright light covered me and Sonia. I closed my eyes to avoid becoming blind. After a few seconds, I felt someone tapping me cheek.

Sonia: You can open your eyes now.

I opened my eyes and I'm suddenly in a city.

(Y/N): What the?! How did we end up here?!

Sonia: It's one of the abilities of the Chaos Emerald. I could normally run anywhere I want in no time, but using this way is more convenient for other people.

I looked at the Chaos Emerald in Sonia's hand. I never thought a gem could teleport people.

Sonia: Hey, I never got your name bud.

(Y/N): Oh! Right. My name is (Y/N).

Sonia smiled at me.

Sonia: It's nice to meet you, (Y/N). I have some free time on my hands, you want to hang out for awhile?

(Y/N): Sure, why not?

Sonia: That's what I like to hear. What do you want to do first?

(Y/N): I have no idea. Maybe we can grab a bite to eat?

Sonia: Alright. I now a place nearby with some good food here at Station Square. Race ya there!

Sonia started to run, leaving a blue trail behind her.

(Y/N): Hey! Wait up!

I started to jog, following the blue trail before it disappeared. After some running, I saw the blue trail go into a building before it faded away. I walked inside and let out a deep sigh.
