~ Astrid ~The sun was just peeking out, I could see a few flashes of light inthe window.
I moved carefully not to wake Sky. She didn't know I was going and I didn't want her to know, I couldn't stay and if she found out I risked she would stop me.
Astrid managed to finally get out of their home — Well, shelter, it's better to call it so, than "Their Ranch"— And then sneak out once again for the lonely streets with the melancholia without knowing if she would ever go back.It was quite early, however, you could already begin to see the merchants who were setting down one next to the other in the ¨Iron Plaza¨ — Not because it was metal or anything but that's what it was called. A strange name but at least it matched the ¨City of Glass¨— The name that the Renegades gave to the city within the glass.
She had never managed to discover or even imagined what the damn wall was for. Wheter to keep them in or us out. It's more likely the second one since they could effortlessly get out if they wanted to. Another reason to go through it; to lower the ego that brings those smug Silvergriff through the roof.
I got to the border without problems, as always. They don't usually bother to post guards because they think we're not capable enough to infiltrate their glass fortress. Although I should thank them, because that made life much easier for me and the others who liked to move from here t othere without jurisdiction.
I stood there looking at the intimidating constuction —Because I had to admit It was absolutely stunning to see, but really intimidating still.— Minutes passed and I couldn't believe I was actually hesitating. It didn't take long for me to take a deep breath and put on my hood. Those walls were made so that no one would ever cross them. If only someone other than the stars knew that I would be the one to do it.
