The sun from my blinds crept through, exposing the sun to my face. I slowly open my eyes, reviling the sun's warm glow. It was the only thing that made me feel something anymore, but soon I wouldn't have to feel anything at all.
I sat up from my bed feeling euphoric more than ever. "If only this feeling was always around." I thought to myself. It's a shame that the only time I feel manic is when I'm near my death.
I stand up, walking to the calendar pinned up against my wall. I smile seeing the date. "The Day" the small box stated. "Heh." I chuckled to myself. I turn my head around looking for a pen. "Ah ha!" I said to myself. The pen was lying next to a note. I swipe the pen off the desk almost causing the paper to fly.
The blue ink from the pen glides across the box marking it off. "That's it." I cried under my breath. A salty, wet tear rolled down my face. This is my reason for it all. I want to feel nothing, I want to be nothing.
