"Hey wait up!" I yelled toward my group my friends. They seemed to have forgotten to wait for me once again. My drive to catch up with them faded as crowds of people piled into the halls like sheep being herded by a dog.

I stood there for a moment. Waves of people grazed passed me, moving me inch by inch with every push or tug. Everything was a blur of colors, until something, more like someone caught my eye.

A girl. Pale skin, dark hair, and slightly overgrown bangs drug her feet up the stairs.  That's strange, those steps don't lead to any classrooms." I thought to myself. She seemed frail with a weak posture as if she crawled out of a shadow of despair.

Something was off. My guts twisted inside my stomach then proceeded to drop. I Looked down at my phone, I had five minutes left till the first period began, sure I could make it before then.

But as I looked back up the girl faded. "She must have gone to the roof." I thought to myself. I quickly prowled my hands through the crowd of students and proceeded to the same fate as the frail girl.
