Alone Again... Maybe

The powerful dragon soared over the Mountains, how could he have given his town up so easily?! He was ashamed and disappointed in himself. But he would find a way to get his city back, the most important thing to him was Dehvira, snd she was safe...

He had managed to put a permanent hypnosis on Ray, so at least she was secured...

Daddy Dragon looked down, there was a forest with what looked like a cave opening in it, he decided to land there.

The beast quietly planted his feet onto the grass covered floor and looked closely at Dehvira. He took a deep breath, reminding himself of why he left Fabania... for her.

He silently questioned if he regretted it, he thought for a minute before giving a solid "no" The air out here was crisp and clean, he inhaled deeply, closing his eyes for a minute before setting the journal down on the grass and entering the cave to make sure it was empty.

When he found it was safe, he carried Dehvira into the cave and sat, rain had begun to fall, and he just sat there with diary in hand.

3 Months Later

Back in Fabania, things were going well, they had all worked to clean up the "mess" and Ray had made the castle a historical site. Now, all they could do was work on expanding the village...

Ray's P.O.V

When I saw what Ranch and Sunflower did DD, I was was furious... but I couldn't let them know...

Funny, because I was under the hallucination of him the whole time, but I couldn't help what I felt. All that time, I wasn't numb to feeling, I'm human for god's sake. I felt passionate about Daddy Dragon, when he gave me my orders, it wasn't just the way his purple eyes guided me into a false sense of illusion, it was more.

I couldn't imagine what he was feeling right now... being forced into hiding because of a book. Even though he made everyone perceive him as unapprochabgle, I saw through his disguise. Although he built tall walls around others, that you couldn't tear down with 3 stacks of TNT, I understood him. I was able to decipher these walls without him having to take them down for me.

I ran my fingers down the cheese shrine that Dragon had made in his room, the words held such meaning to me, I couldn't explain it, but I knew Daddy Dragon didn't have to hypnotize me to get me to serve him, I did that on my own. And that's what I was doing.

I was experienced in witchcraft, and when DD put that spell on me, I just made it look like it worked, looking in the reflection of the mirror in Daddy's room, I watched as my left eye turned from brown to purple. I smiled and walked into the secret room of the beast's castle. As I slipped behind the painting, I walked up to the enchanting table.

I spoke a chant that my grandma had taught me, the air around the table glew a bright purple, and though I was beginning to feel dizzy, I kept going.

Soon, a crystal appeared on the table. I picked it up, put it in my pocket and slipped out of the castle, heading into the woods towards Daddy Dragon's new residence...

Narrator's P.O.V

Ray finally reached the area Daddy Dragon was in, and as soon as she saw him, everything she wanted to say disappeared... She blanked out and just held the crystal out in the palm of her hand. "If you have this touching you and think or say what you want to turn into, you will."

Ray explained this and left again, severely disappointed in herself for now asking him if he was OK, but she shook her head and refused to go back, kicking rocks as she made her way back to Fabania.

Ranch sat on her porch, she seemed to be the only one who noticed a change in Ray, and she had no idea what to do. She watched Ray emerge from the mountains, and as she nearly fell face first down the cliff, Ranch decided to walk over and ask her straight up.

When she got to Ray she was halfway to her house.

"Hey Ray, you okay? You're acting pretty strange."

"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine"

"You sure you're not bothered with that dragon being gone? "

"Just drop it Ranch"

Ray pushed Ranch to the side angrily, something that she normally didn't do outside of a joke, Ranch watched her disappear from sight, before running off towards Sunflowers house.
