Page 98 - A Short Reunion

Shadow2 and Shadow4 watch as Benny defeats Nov

Shadow4 says, "I'm surprised they've won. Looks like I'll need a replacement for Nov.

Shadow3 replies, "These kids are more than what we're throwing at them, before long they'll get to powerful."

Shadow2 laughs and says, "Guess that last minute group wasn't the best idea, but she's right we have been underestimating these kids."

Shadow1 says, "That's true. We'll leave them alone for now but in the future we'll need to send much stronger forces."

Shadow4 says, "Alright I'll have my son take care of them. What about the gem we're after?"

Shadow2 replies, "It doesn't matter for now. We'll have our chance at it in the future."

Shadow3 says, "How can you be so sure? Won't they just move it?"

Shadow2 smiles and says, "I'm sure I know where it is. I just need to verify before we can make any decisions."

Shadow3 chuckles, "Hmph alright just be sure it's correct. We don't need another mix up like this one."

Shadow3 leaves as Shadow2 waves his hand. The camera slowly pans towards the screen bring us back to the Kingdom

Benny takes deep breaths barely able to stand. Daunte and Keifer look at each other and fist bump as King Escarcha slowly gets up and starts walking to his son

Benny turns towards his father as his energy settles down

The King approaches, the two stare each other in the eyes for a moment

The King hugs Benny. Tears stream down his face as he says, "Thank you, my son. You fought braver than any Royal ever could today."

Benny hugs him back. He says, "This is my home, I couldn't stand by and watch it be destroyed."

King Escarcha steps back and says, "And it shall remain your home for as long as you live! As of today you and your cousin's bans are permanently removed!"

Benny's eyes widen a bit in shock. He smiles softly as a tear tolls out of his left eye. He looks at all of friends as they slowly gather themselves. He thinks for a moment and says, "I appreciate your offer but I just can't accept it right now."

The King nods his head and says, "I knew you would say that. I can't house you if you take this route but you all will have my support."

Benny nods his head and says, "Thank you father."

The camera then pans to Keifer and Daunte. Keifer says, "Our first victory as a crew, wonder what our bounties are gonna be."

Daunte says, "We all have to be over one hundred million! We just fought a war and saved a kingdom from a powerful bandit in the same week!"

The King chimes in, "You two must be DeadLocs and The Demon Ox. I want to personally thank you all for saving my Kingdom."

Keifer says, "Ah it was nothing. We just wanted to repay our friend."
