Alleyways

The day started off as a normal day. Kat went to school, she hangout with her friends(people who Yumi is friends with), She felt Haru staring at her, and obviously some classes in there too. She left the school and started on her way home.

She always passed this alleyway when she was with her older brother and his friends. She couldve sworn that she heard weeping and yelling, but she always shrugged it off since her brother's friends said that they didn't hear it. She was finally sick of it. After years of hearing this mysterious weeping, she brought up her courage and started walking down the alleyway.

She continued walking for what seemed to be an hour. Kat notice that the same things have been happening over and over again. The cat meows," the rats scatter, and the homeless guy snores. She kept feeling like she was being followed.

She turned around and saw Haru right behind her. "AAAUGH!" "Sorry... I saw you walking here and I was curious." Haru said. "Well you didn't have to scare me like that." She turned back around. "Well, I keep getting this eerie feeling and I hear crying and screaming." Kat continued walking. "Well I heard it too. Isn't it normal for alleyways or something?" Haru asked. "Yeah, but the weird thing is no one else heard it, plus, the things that happen in this Alleway seem to be repeating themselves. Its like a never ending tunnel." she exclaimed.

They heard a laughing noise coming from around th ecorner. Haru jumped in front of Kat. " I'll go around first. You follow me" she made him turn around to look at her. "Hold on, we don't know whats waiting for us around the corner. It might not be human." " hmm... you're right. If we are going to defeat whatever is around the corner, we need to be prepares. My grandma has some stuff we could use." they start walking back to where they were before. "So, i'm assuming that she told you about her past too." "yup" he says. "They probably need and upgrade.." "did someone say upgrade?" they noticed some one standing in front of them. It was a girl about their age, with red hair tucked in a ponytail, orange fierce eyes, and an inventors lab coat covered with grease. "Uhm yeah! But who are you?" Kat asked. "I'm Miko. Now, about the upgrade?" she questioned. "Right. So, my Grandma has these swords that need to be upgraded." "Hold on, how do we know we can trust her?" Kat asked. "Youre right. How can we trust you?" "How about I invite you to my shop."
