1981 Halloween

Voldemort POV

I trudged along the side of the path, unbeknownst to the small children playing. Why were they out at this time of night anyway? It did not matter. Nothing did. Until he killed Harry Potter. Ideally, there was a chance it was the Longbottom boy. He doubted it. The boy's parents weren't particularly stand out. This ones wasn't either. But there were too many similarities between him and this infant. Their green eyes, matching faces, black hair and most importantly power. Lots of it.

Voldemort did not particularly like this sudden threat. So why not eliminate the dinosaur when it can't fight back? He blasted the door open. The Father was of no problem. He rushed in, Gryffindor at it's finest. Fool. Voldemort slowly walked up the stairs, building tension and fear. The mother instantly jumped in front of the son. "Please! He's just a child! Take me instead!

He smirked."Do you think that magic fools me?" He took the mudbloods fear as yes."Ah, mudbloods. All honorable wizards learn love magic before even going to hogwarts. You thought you were discovering some never heard of branch of magic?" The mudblood nodded. "Idiot. It doesn't work on killing curses anyway." He disposed of the mudblood. He looked at his nemesis, his great foe. He looked challenging even at infant stage.

He didn't drag things out. Just a simple, "Avada Kedrava." It was spoken softer than all his others. He hated harming children, but it had to be done. Much to his shock, the curse bounced off his head and shot back at him. He flung himself out of the way. "What. The. Hell." He breathed. It was not the mudblood. He knew for sure. It was the baby, who had such a smug look in his eyes, damnit, can babies have emotions?!

The baby gazed at him and he was encompassed in a golden stream of pure magic. He could not see, blinding light. He didn't feel anything, not even his clothes much less his wand. He wandered in there for days, years in time. No time passed in the real world, but Voldemort was stuck in a mental prison for days, even months.

Days, where he couldn't even move. The wind blowed so highly that he could not dare stand up, for fear his arms torn to shreds. Finally, the gold magic walls did something. Unfortunately, it wasn't good for Voldemort. The gold magic chained him to the white magic blocks. He suddenly realized where he was. He was in the babies mind. No! He tried to escape and he finally squirmed out. After all this time. He noticed he was in the same situation. Back in the nursery. Okay, time for plan he didn't even think of. Run away from the infant.

He fell on the wooden floor of the nursery. The baby finally stood up in his crib, a menacing sight for him. He crawled back pathetically, "No.." He managed to croak. The baby punched in his direction. A wave of magic destroyed his body and nearly him, Thank you horcruxes.
He needed to flee, get away from this mad child. Let Dumbledore deal with him!

And so the tale began.
