Being sent to Uncle Nick's?

I was chilling in my room when suddenly, my mom yells at me to come downstairs. "Y/N, M/N, L/N! Get your ass down here!" I jumped when hearing her voice, but quickly composed myself and reluctantly got out of bed.

"Ugh! What do you want, mom?" I went downstairs and into the Living room. "Well, we are sending you to live with your uncle, Nick. We decided it was best for you." She said as she looked sadly at my dad and then into my eyes.

"Oh... Why..?" I pretended to be sad, when in reality, I'm actually really happy! "With how you are and how you're failing in almost every class. We've decided to send you away so you could get better in school. I know it doesn't make sense but..." She looked back at her husband.

"It doesn't matter now. You're leaving in a few days. So, go get packed." My dad said without a care in the world. "Yes sir." I quickly scrambled up the stairs and into my room.

I turned on some music and Rises the Moon by Egg came on. I smiled to myself and took a few bags out of my closet. "Y/N! Come down here again!" My dad yelled. I sighed to myself, turned my music off, and walked downstairs.

"What is it?" I looked at him and my mom. "Well. Your Uncle, Nick, had a daughter named Deliah. She's 14 right now. And, Nick's wife..." He looked at his wife. "You get it," He said before signaling you to go back upstairs. "I understand." I said as I went back to my room.

"Why didn't anyone tell me about this Deliah girl? Oh well, I guess I'll learn more about her," I said as I packed things into my bags and double checked to make sure I don't leave everything.

"I think I have everything packed!" I said as I checked again. I then walked downstairs and got myself a snack. "Y/N, do the dishes before you go back upstairs," My mom said as I sighed and set my snack on the counter. "Yes ma'am," I said as I got the hot water going.

I quickly finished the dishes and wiped my hands on a paper towel. I wonder how Uncle Nick has been. I haven't met him in a while, the last time I did, I was five. I decided to stop thinking about it and looked at the time. "7:13" It read.

I made my way back up stairs and to my room. I shut the door behind me and pulled out my phone. I opened up Discord and smiled when I saw the group chat. It had 127 messages in it. Even though it may only have four people in it. We are one amazing group!

Ben thy Elf: Who wants to see the art I made?

Andy/Hoodie_2.0: Yeah! I bet it looks awesome!

Jason/Jaylen: Of course!

Me: Sure!

I smiled to myself. I always loved my little friend group. They are all so nice and caring!

Me: So, how are you guys?

Andy/Hoodie_2.0: I'm ok, you?

Jason/Jaylen: I'm good! What about you?

Ben thy Elf: I'm good, loser!

me: Well, I'm alright! Also, Ben, kindly shut the fuck up you Cocomelon, Cheeto dust, kid!

Andy/Hoodie_2.0: Haha!

Jason/Jaylen: LMAO!

Ben thy Elf: You shut your mouth you triangular nose clown!

Me: Make me bitch!

Jason/Jaylen: Me and Andy/Hoodie_2.0 are going to be on call, so we have to go!

Me: Oh ok! Bye!

Andy/Hoodie_2.0: See ya!

I smiled and left Discord. I turned my music back on and looked for something to do. I decided to draw, so I took out a pencil, some paper, and sat at my desk. I started off by drawing some random eyes.

I made a curved line and some slanted points at the end that pointed down. I went from one of those points to the other in another curved line. I made two half circles as the iris and a circle for the pupil!

Then, I decided to make some ghosts! I made a upside-down U like shape and some squiggly lines at the bottom. I soon got bored of it, so I checked the time again. "8:47 PM" I put my things away and changed into some pajamas. I laid down in bed, hugged my teddy bear, and fell asleep.
