Robert

Gibson rolled Andy into Grey Sloan with me behind him.

"What do we got?" Levi Schmitt questioned.

"Female, 31, can't breathe."

Miranda came out of the back.

"Go away, Levi. I've got this one."

"Okay."

He walked away.

"What really happened? A fall didn't cause this. And don't even think about lying."

"You can't tell McCallister, alright?" I questioned.

"Yeah."

"Both of them are already on thin ice with him."

"Okay."

"Maya stood up. She was drunk so Andy stood next to her. Maya announced that Andy is interim Captain. She told her to sit down. She wouldn't so she kept trying to get her to. Maya elbowed Andy in the throat. She stumbled backwards into a wall."

"And the lie you want me to tell him?"

"Andy and Robert got in an argument. He wasn't paying attention to where he elbowed her and got her in the throat."

"Okay."

"Okay."

"What's going on here?"

"Andy cut herself with a jagged piece of glass. I kept trying to stop her but she kept yanking her arm away."

"Small cuts don't cause somebody to bleed like that."

Miranda pulled Andy's sleeve up.

"15. Incident. Motorcycle. Engine 19."

"Pull Andrea Herrera's medical file right now." She ordered.

The nurse at the reception desk quickly pulled up Andy's medical file on the computer.

"Go to 16 years ago."

She scrolled down.

"Andrea Herrera was admitted to the hospital for eight days on August 13th, 2005--"

"Man, she makes me feel old."

There was an amused look in her eyes.

"For severe injures from a motorcycle incident. Captain Pruitt Herrera brought her in on Engine 19. Her lungs, ribs, and bottom of her throat were crushed by the motorcycle. She was immediately taken into surgery. She had nearly died multiple times on the O.R table but they were able to stabilize her every time. She made it through the surgery with the scars to prove that the incident happened."

"Andy told us what caused her to not be able to breathe." Gibson pointed out.

Miranda flung Andy's hair off her shoulders, so it wasn't blocking her neck.

She had never told me the story behind the scars on her chest or ribcage.

"Maya's elbow connected right to the bottom of her throat."

"How do you even know that?"

"It's the indent in her throat."

"So, if McCallister—"

"He'd know it was a person around her size, not you. To be able to hit the direct base of the bottom of her throat."

McCallister

I arrived at Grey Sloan.

I walked in.

You saw long brown curly hair.
