He felt like he was weightless, he couldn't feel any of his limbs and when he tried to move them he couldn't. He didn't have a body anymore he was just a light floating in a blue eternal abyss. He should be panicking right now and yet there was something strangely serene and sacred about the place he was in that made him feel at peace.
How had he ended up here? He wondered, then he recalled. Oh right he had died...

Earlier that day
''If you want to be a hero so bad there might be a solution. Take a swan dive off the roof and pray that you'll get a Quirk in your next life!''
Those words and Bakugou carelessly throwing his hero notebook in the koi pond was what had led him here. After retreiving his book from the water he put on a brave face as he crossed underneath the bridge and laughed loudly like his favorite hero All Might.
In another universe this would be where a monstrous slime villain would have errupted from the sewers entrance and grab him. Leading to a rescue from All Might and his future as the successor of the symbol of peace. But in this universe for one reason or another the villain never showed up and Izuku was free to carelessly laugh until he travelled on the other side of the tunnel.
However Izuku stopped laughing as he realised that people on the other side had heard him and were now looking at him with weirded out expression. He ducked his head in embarassment and quickly walked away. Izuku decided to cut throught the local park to make his way home. The place is usually calm and devoid of children at this hour and no one from his school ever pass through here. Which is exacly what Izuku wanted, he would rather not see anyone else today.
Izuku look at his wet notebook and check it's content to see if any of his notes had been damaged. Thankfully it looked like only the cover had substained any serious damage and most of his notes were only a little bit wet and would recover after drying a little bit more.
His inspection was rudely interrupted when a small fireball came out of nowhere and almost burned his curly hair. Izuku quickly ducked behind a bush expecting that another bully from his school had found him.
But to his surprise it wasn't another students that he found there. It wasn't even a human at all. Instead it was a majestic fox with creamy yellow fur and a single long velvety tail that stood in the clearing. It looked like it hadn't notice him and shot the fireball in his direction by pure coincidence. The fox turned toward a tree with multiple scorch marks and breath out another fireball. The tree caught fire but the fox quickly put a paw on it and extinguished the flame before resuming it's assault on the tree.
Izuku was fascinated by the creature. He couldn't believe he had the chance to see an animal with a quirk today. They were extremeley rare, only about ten percent of all animals had a quirk and a big majority of them were apes and monkeys. Animals who shared a lot in common with humans. While non primate animals could get quirks as evidenced by Nezu it was extremely uncommon and most of them lived in captivity. Seeing one just live freely in nature was almost unheard of and-
''What are you mumbling about shitty nerd?'' Izuku immediatly tensed when he heard the all too familiar voice of Kachan behind him.
Izuku turned around and quickly raised his hands defensively. ''I-it's nothing important, w-what are you doing here Kachan? Don't you usually take the bus?''
''I'll go where I damn please Deku.'' Bakugo snarl before unleashing an explosion just a few inches away from Izuku's face.
Izuku prepared himself to run away, he really didn't want to confront Kachan a second time today. But before either of them could even react a fireball suddenly hit Bakugou in the chest and lit his shirt on fire.
