Chapter 1.4

Where am I? Why the hell can't I see anything? What is that noise? The bag that was over my head was ripped off.

I heard a voice as I strained to see in the blinding light. "Wow, the next alfa is even more gorgeous than they said."

"Shut up. You know we can't say anything, or do anything to them." I saw a slight smirk "Well at least until the master gets to have fun with Y/N first."

"what do you want with me? Who are you? Where am I?" my voice broke slightly. I'm so thirsty.

"Haha, You really don't know anything do you? " the tall man with blonde hair smirked. "well I guess ill have to explain to you what is going on and who we are."

the man knelt in front of me and got in my face. I could feel his hot breath on my face as he spoke "We are kind of like a secret guard for a prominent family like yours. You are to marry our leader." he got up walked to the other side of the room and leaned on the wall.

"What the hell are you talking about? I am just a normal person. Why did you call me alfa? Last time I checked I'm not some sort of wolf." I started to yell. "Let me go now."

"Sorry, but I can't do that. Your husband will be here soon. You can take it up with him then."

"Fuck you asshole. I want to get out of these chains and go home now."

the man ran across the room and was about to hit me when a hand grabbed him from the shadows."Dude, you know what he will do to you if they are hurt in any way."

the new man's voice sounded soft and caring. I asked, "Who are you?"

"I am but a humble servant. I am nobody important, unlike you."

"Am I able to order you around?" I asked hoping I could.

"Yes, you can order us around to an extent that is. we are not allowed to let you go but, you can have us do anything else."

"Man fuck this. I'm out. ill see you when you get back." said the tall blonde angrily.

"Ok man. I'll see you later. Be safe on your way home."

The man left. I still could not see the other man in the shadows. I told him as assertively as possible "Come into the light so I can see you."

He stepped out into the light where I saw his face. he was also tall. He had tan skin, dark hair, piercing green eyes, and a scar across his otherwise perfect face. I let out an unintentional gasp.

"Yea that's why I usually stick to the shadows. Sorry for not warning you. ill go back into the shadows now." he turned to start walking away.

"Stop!" I accidentally showed. he stopped with a slight twitch. I continued "I mean, don't go back into the shadows. you actually have a quite beautiful face." I smiled at him.

he smiled back "Thank you Y/N."

"What is your name? I would like to know who I am talking to."

"Oh sorry. my name is Milo and the other guy's name is jack. He's not always like that he's just hungry."

"Is that so. well, then he needs to go eat something so he's nicer to people."

we both laughed when suddenly the door opened.

my new friend Milo bowed down in front of him.
