Life was never going to be the same without him.

(Jadion's POV)

I rubbed my eyes until all the sleep left them. "Nghh." I sat up.

Another lonely day, after all there isn't many dieux up here and I am the youngest, the God of Love. You would have thought that a female would get that role but fuck no. I was cursed with that title. 'Jadion, the Dieu of Love, 3rd most powerful Dieu who can't use his own magic.' how pathetic. And how fucking ironic that the Dieu of Love can't get a date even if he wanted too. My afterlife sucked.

I hopped off of my pedestal and landed on a flurry of clouds. I looked down onto the world. A boy and a merman were kissing in a river. I have to admit I was jealous. I couldn't even flirt. I'm the Dieu of Love and I can't get a guy if I tried.

I decided to stop stalking the pair and eat something. "Okay, what is edible and suitable for breakfast, O' Great God Server?" a scroll appeared out of nowhere. "What's a waffle? Oh god I shouldn't have slept past the alarm. I missed all kinds of stuff from over the years. Uhm well those 'pancakes' sound good. Is there any toppings I can have on the 'pancakes', O' Great God Server?" another scroll popped into existence. "Oooh~ Syrup! Glad they still have this. Butter, Jam. Yogurt? Uhm, fuck no, what even is that?! I would like the 'pancakes' with butter and syrup, O' Great God Server." A plate with the 'pancakes' appeared and I started to eat. "Thanks, O' Great God Server, this is some good food." 

A scroll hit me in the face. "Uff! What the fuck O' Great God Server?" I read the scroll. 'Meeting with the other gods in 5 celestial minutes.' "EH?! THERE'S A FUCKING MEETING, OH CUPIDS!" I screamed "O' GREAT GOD SERVER, give me appropriate clothes!" Suddenly I was dressed in my ceremonial robes. As I ran towards the meeting place the clouds moved to where my feet would land so I didn't fall down.

"You are 3 minutes late." Someone muttered in my ear, and then they yelled, "Everyone! Please greet, Jadion, The God of Love!" Katlinia, The Dieu of Enfer, my big 'reliable' sister. Her mask showed a circle with two horns on the top. She was a powerful goddess. I bowed in front of the group.

15 minutes later I was looking at the clouds below us when I heard my name being mentioned. "And Jadion will tell us about how he's been doing." "Uhm, well I've been sleeping for a few years now. So not much, haha..." I awkwardly said. Everyone was silent. "Yeah, that's it...." I muttered. They carried on with their meeting.

I left feeling kinda down. I looked down upon the world again. I remembered once when I looked down from the sky, I saw a little witch playing in the woods, that was a long time ago.

I sighed and decided to look upon the castle at the other end of the forest. Down in the gardens I saw a guy, he looked important. A blond. Had a beaming smile, one that could out-shine the fucking sun. He wasn't that bad-looking honestly. I couldn't see his eyes but I knew if I gazed into them I would be greeted with an equal, or greater, attraction to this handsome human. I wondered if he would like how I looked too.... I snapped back into reality.

He wouldn't like me even if I had my mask on. I pushed my mask deeper into my face. Each dieu, demon, celestial, devil, mermaid, wizard and fairy had a mask assigned to them by which mask's dieu-symbol suited them best. Some wore them, some didn't. Of course I was the only one with a crappy heart symbol on my face. Nothing wore my mask. The only reason I wore mine is because I had insecurities about my face. Not many humans knew about these shitty masks.

I looked down at the human again, he was so.... perfect. "O' Great God Server. Give me a human disguise and let me go down to Earth. Oh and, let me keep the mask."

I was given a brown skin-tone with white splotches, black, long hair in a ponytail with a pink stripe and my face had pink, white and red little heart-shaped freckles all over it. My eyes had red heart-shaped irises and I had a pink, red and black cloak over whatever I was wearing underneath. "Wow, I look.... Decent!" I leaned my mask over my face, I stopped. If I looked so good than why was I bringing the stupid, fucking mask? I shut off that thought and strapped the mask on. A portal appeared in front of me. I stepped through it. How convenient, I was in the garden where I saw the human. I wandered through the garden until I saw him. I was fucking right. He looked even better up close.

He spun around, I ducked just in time. "Who's there? Hey, I know someone's there, I'm not a dumbass y'know." Oh cupids! He started walking over to where I was, inching closer and closer. I tried to crawl away from there but to no avail, he saw me frantically trying to get out of there as fast as possible and pinned me against the hedge, "Who the fuck are you and why were you spying on me you little shit. What does your cringey mask symbol mean?"

He tried to rip the mask off my face, it wouldn't work, only the owner could take it off. It fucking hurt though. "Why isn't this stupid thing coming off-" I kicked him in the gut, making him fall back into the opposite hedge. I was fucking PISSED and went into full kick-ass mode. "Ok that's fucking it-" I silenced him again by holding him up by the neck, enough to make him feel pain, not enough to choke him. "You don't try and piss off a god, ok little human? Especially not the 3rd most powerful fucking dieu."

I dropped him and kicked him again, he coughed up a bit of blood. "Ok well now my stalker has a god-complex, GREAT!" He spat, evidently pushing my buttons. I was about to punch him in the face, but then I stopped, breathed in and out, slowly got up leaving the stubborn human confused and walked further into the garden. "Hey! Where are you going?! I'm the prince, I make the rules around here!" He yelled, catching up from behind. I started to run, run real fast. I eventually lost him.

"Jade. Why the fuck are you here?!" Katilnia. "As soon as the Great God Server told me I came rushing over. You're not qualified to go into the human world. You're too young, naive and-" I slapped her right in the face, "Just shut up! All you talk about is how pathetic I am, how I'm supposed to be the 'amazing 3rd most powerful dieu' and how you're embarrassed to have me as a sibling!" 

"Jade I-" "Save it Kat. I'm leaving. O' Great God Server, get me the fuck out of here." A portal opened and I looked back, Kat was going to follow me into the portal and we would be fine. "Jade you can stay. I'll go and you can fun ok? Big sis has you covered.... For once...." I smiled a bit under the mask and nodded. As soon as she stepped through the portal it disappeared. I took a step back. "Hey! I found you again! You little bitch!" I sighed inside. 

"You are going to explain yourself to the prince!" The arrogant human yelled. I rolled my eyes, "Fuck the 'prince', I don't even know what your name is, dumbass." He pouted, I blushed underneath the mask. He was still cute too me even when pissed off. He lunged at me, pinning me against the hedge again. "My name's Prince Vexian. Now take off the mask or I'll do it for you!" "Okay, okay!" I said, angrily. He un-pinned my arms so I could take off my mask.

"SIKE!" I pushed him and ran in a random direction. "Oh cupids. Fuck. A dead end." I turned around, Vexian was standing there. He walked up to me and pinned me into a corner this time so there was no escape. "Now take off the mask." My eyes darted around me trying to find a way out.

No way out. "Fine...." I slowly unbuckled the mask and lowered it. 

"Aww your freckles are so damn cute!" He squealed. "I'm sorry.... WHAT?!" I asked. "I said you look cute, what never been complimented before?" I shook my head in response, "What?! But your so adorable!" I pushed him away slightly and strapped the mask back on, "Please stop. I'm not really used to it." He stopped and looked at my mask. "Why do you say you're a god when you're not?" I scowled and replied, "I am a god and I can prove it." in my mind I thought of me saying 'O' Great God Server give me a portal back.' and there was a portal. 

"So? Wizards and witches do that all the time." I walked through and then closed it in his face. That was more than enough for today. 

This is the new 'longest I've ever written' at 1601 words! OMG i'm fuking dying that took so long! Please like this I will try and make more of this shitty book hehe :p lmao <3
