The Minecraft Make-Up

Alex dropped onto the smooth, green, somehow pixelated grass. How'd I get here? Do I have a purpose in this world? There must be a reason, right? Where's my friend? Her mind was racing. She thought her friend followed and started the game too, but he wasn't there "I'll wait for him," she said. While she waited, she studied her surroundings and tried to map out the land. As she looked up, she saw the world around her, it looked... squared? The terrain was smooth, and she saw blocky hills. Alex then looked around in more directions and got a good look of the land. She realised she knew where she was.

Alex saw a shadow behind her and was scared to turn around, she stayed still in case it posed a threat. Alex and the figure stood still until Alex turned to see it. As she turned, she started to see a blue and teal shirt. She was scared to look into its eyes, but she had to if she were to find out who this figure was. She looked up and as she saw the face, it said... "Boo!" Alex screamed and sprinted to hide behind a tree. She peered around the tree and saw its face. "STEEEEVEEEE!!! Why'd you do that?? You scared me!"

"Sorry Alex, I thought it'd be funny since you looked so immersed with nature."

"Steve, you know me, I don't like surprises." Alex was annoyed with him, but she knew that he would make Minecraft way more fun.

"Sorry... now let's go find diamonds!"

Steve and Alex headed east stopping by any caves and villages they saw. They were doing well for their adventure. They found a big ravine and jumped down to explore it. They fought off some monsters and then they went in every direction of the ravine.

Steve found a mineshaft and wanted Alex to explore it with him, "ALEX!!! Look! I found something!" He yelled.

Alex was unsure what it was, but Steve sounded excited. She headed towards the coordinates she'd been given. It took her a while, but she got to the coordinates Steve had given her to find him cowering in a corner. "STEVE! What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost?!"

"ALEX!!" Steve threw his arms around her and bawled his eyes out. "Steve, I'm here? What happened?"

Alex sat him down and calmed him before she asked. Did he see something? Did something hurt him? What could've happened, he'd never done this before. They sat on the ground, Alex comforting her friend as he caught his breath. "Alex" he said slowly... "I think... I saw... UGH, I can't say it, I saw HIM"

Alex knew what he meant and asked questions "Did he do anything? Where was he? Where did he go?"

"I'm fine. He's right behind that pillar there" He pointed to a one block pillar where you could see a small figure standing, two white, beady eyes, staring. The figure walked closer, and Steve and Alex saw it had one small blue line of pixels running from its eye. They looked at each other and Alex said "Hello, I'm Alex, and this is my friend Steve."

The figure spoke in a slow, sombre voice, "Hey, I'm Herobrine, I mean no harm, I just want friends." Herobrine was lonely, Alex and Steve gave him a chance to talk. Herobrine sat down and started talking, the friends found out Herobrine had been through tough times and needed someone to listen. For years he had been trying to find someone to listen and be his friend. He pulled harmless pranks on players, but they always took it seriously.

"Wow... I'm so sorry. We've all always been scared of you, but everyone has a backstory... Sorry for doubting you."

"It's ok, I understand. You've probably heard people overreacting to my pranks."

They sat for a while and Steve said "Hey, do you want to join us on our adventure?"

Herobrine was surprised and agreed to go with them. Have I ACTUALLY made friends? Am I finally respected? He felt like the luckiest person alive, they went off to conquer the universe!

The trio gathered resources, to progress. They built a portal and set off to the Nether. They spawned next to a fortress, found Blazes, and got Blaze-Rods. Then, got Ender-Pearls and made Eyes of Ender. They got back to the over-world and threw the eyes to find the stronghold!

They found it and dug straight down to find the portal. They found the portal and activated it. They jumped in and got to The End! They killed the dragon and made their way to cities to get wings! The first city had a ship Steve took the wings and the trio set off to find more, they searched for a long-time seeing city after city finding nothing, but they eventually found two ships, and everyone got wings.

They flew back to the portal and jumped through. They chilled and built houses and overall had a great time! Herobrine was happy he'd found people that respected him for who he was. Everyone was grateful to have met each other and continued to play in the world together!
