I've often thought I should get into gardening, so when I was introduced to hügelkultur on a TV show one evening, I decided to start on my land right away.
The idea is to construct raised plant beds out of decaying materials. Apparently it produces a very good crop. I wasn't as concerned about the crop so much as what went into building the beds.
The instructions said you had to use decaying plant materials, but I supposed anything organic would do.
Opening the plastic bag containing the human remains I'd collected over the years, I began lining the beds.
