sitting lazily on the couch.
the tv playing semantic error, the new korean bl, that hiyyih and dayeon started some time ago.
ruiyi, who was standing at the stove top, was boiling a pot of hot water for ramen.

ruiyi's phone sounded a low ping from beside hiyyih.

"rui unnie! han unnie is calling you" hiyyih called out to the older as she held up ruiyi's phone, a picture of ruiyi and meraki's han lighting up.

"answer it"

"hi unnie, she's making ramen right now— unnie said to get dressed cause her and hyojung unnie are almost here"

"what?" ruiyi huffed out, stalking over and grabbing her phone that hiyyih held out.
"yah, are you crazy? where are you?"

"hello to you too, and like... ten minutes away, are you getting dressed?" han's deep and husky voice sounded in ruiyi's ear.

"no, go back to wherever you were coming from, i'm busy" a loud snort was heard before the sound of laughter mixing.

"doing what? watching kdrama's and sitting on your ass?" another voice sounded, ruiyi put two and two together and guessed it was hyojung.

"yah"

"what? get dressed, some of us are meeting at the river" han stated.

"you can bring dayeon!" hyojung offered, ruiyi containing the urge to roll her eyes at the best friend duo.

"why would i? we're all older than she is"

"gaeul's bringing yujin, and han has a friend coming who's an 03 liner"

"who?"

"no one you know, yah, it would be good for you and dayeon to get out the dorms, be ready before i get there!" han answered.

"wait—" ruiyi dragged out a long sigh as han hung up the phone, her head dropping back.

"unnie? everything okay?" hiyyih asked as both she and dayeon watched the older over the couch.

"yeah, make sure you don't get friends, their annoying" dayeon snorted at ruiyi's words while hiyyih only chuckled to herself before starting the show once again.

"dayeon" the blonde turned her head in ruiyi's direction. "do you wanna hang out with me and my friends today?"

dayeon slowly raised an eyebrow at the older, her face blank as she wondered why ruiyi was asking her such a thing. hiyyih, who had leaned over towards dayeon, whispered something loud enough for ruiyi to hear.

"it's a trap"

"it's not a trap" ruiyi rolled her eyes at the seventeen year old. "han asked if you wanted to come"

"uh, yeah? what should i wear?"

"it's the river, some jeans and something if it gets chilly. i'm gonna go get dressed"
